Nils used our encounter to tell me (or plug) the fact that he has a new album for download of his favourite Neil Young songs.

Seems a charming guy in real life, but part of me will never forgive him for whacking Adriana in The Sopranos...

Max looked really drained at the end of "American Land".....too many Late Nights, I think... Gearoid (Irelandcalling) is in this pic too.

he'd just finished a meal. In fact he looks like I spilled tomato ketchup over him, and hes decided hes going to have me 'taken care of' after the photo op is done.

The waiter actually found us a table in the hotel bar and when we found a seat, I couldnt believe it when my mate leans over and says "Steve is sitting behind you!". There he was, larger than life, talking to a few Italians. I was doing my best to eavesdrop in a subtle way as he was talking about Obama and telling anecdotes about Danny Federici in between mouthfuls of food.

Patience, my dear. Simple answer.

Same tactic as was employed at the Stones hotels last summer. Walk in, act like you belong there, be patient and dont act like a cock. Most people stand outside thinking they cant get inside. They can. Its a public place.

Have a drink, sit near reception and/or the main elevator, be patient, and if you get your moment, be polite and then fuck off out of the way and leave the people alone once you're done.

Clarence is cool as fuck. Every single one of them were very gracious and pleasant. If you're courteous to them, they tend to respond in kind.
