This exciting symposium, organized by Virginia Tech with Penn State Altoona, will run from September 25-27, 2009, with pre-conferenc! e events on September 24. Events will primarily take place at Monmouth University, the Sheraton Eatontown Center, and The Stone Pony.

In addition to the above featured sessions, special pre-conference events offered on Thursday, September 24 for an additional fee include:
Pre-Conference Session: This session, to be held from 10 am - 1:30 pm on Thursday, September 24, will focus on Springsteen in the Classroom, and will also include additional special features to be announced shortly.
Pre-Conference Tours: These tours, to occur between 2 - 7 pm on Thursday, September 24, will visit Asbury Park, Freehold and Belmar.
Celebrating The Stone Pony and Musical Event: This session, facilitated by Robert Santelli, President of the Grammy Museum, will celebrate the world-famous music club, with panelists including Lee Mrowicki, Kevin Kavanaugh and more. Beginning at 7:30 pm on September 24th, this panel will be followed by music from Boccigalupe and the Badboys, Jon Caspi and Hans Ludvigsson.
