Anybody else get this Email from Backstreets. Improving the setlists just as the next leg goes on sale. Wow that is cynical. Never even considered it.

Springsteen blew 'em away at his last show, in Torino Tuesday night, with six tour premieres including a stunning "Drive All Night." As I write, he and the E Street Band are midway through their third of three Italian shows, in Udine -- and it's already looking like another gobsmacker, with both "Something in the Night" and "Streets of Fire," plus "Be True," "Summertime Blues"... and the show ain't even halfway over.

If I didn't know any better, I might think he's building excitement for upcoming ticket sales!

Waitaminute...

Ticket Alert!

No, I'm not that cynical. (I just have friends who are.) But as it happens, a new round of ticket sales is about to begin, starting tomorrow morning, for fall U.S. dates. Just a reminder of what's coming up in the next few days, for Working on a Dream tour onsales. All times are local.

Friday, 7/24:
Tampa, FL (10 a.m.)
Ft. Lauderdale, FL (10 a.m.)

Saturday, 7/25
Nashville, TN (10 a.m.)

Monday, 7/27
Philadelphia, PA 1 (10 a.m.)
Philadelphia, PA 2 (10 a.m.)

NEW RULES: Be sure to note, especially if you're accustomed to trading tickets: beginning with these onsales, Ticketmaster will be implementing their new Paperless Ticketing system. For shows sold by Ticketmaster, like Nashville and Ft. Lauderdale, certain sections (GA floor, prime side seats) will be Paperless Ticket Delivery only. These tickets will be non-transferable, with original purchaser's ID and credit card required for entry at the venue. We recommend you pay close attention to the Event notes on Ticketmaster.com, and see their How It Works page for a more detailed explanation, with FAQ and video. Forewarned is forearmed!

Nashville tickets went on sale today. Judging by sales so far,it doesn't appear anybody in Nashville actually knows...or cares. If the act isn't Billy Bob something or other, nobody cares. Yet they get another show. Who planned this tour,Amelia Earheart's navigator. :hilarious

Jeez, Gazz, I've been so twisted I mistook "Incident" for "NYC Serenade." Still a good one, but yikes...  Shocked
Hopefully I'll get "serenaded" in October...

and then get a STONES tour soon after. That'll cure what ails me!  Cool

at the 23 second mark of this song bruce does a peruvian nose job on himself.  maybe the stage hands should set up a kleenex box stand like the stones had on their last tour.  other than that...a great oldie.

Are you fucking serious?

the usually reliable 'Tom Johnson' on GL has mentioned that more dates will be announced shortly - including some west coast dates.

In other news, apparently the Chicago Tribune has announced that his show at the United Centre on september 20th will see him perform the entire 'Born To Run' album.

Their are more rumours coming out of the Springsteen camp than from a Washington politician....I guess that makes TJ deep throat.....But just announce this stuff already. I'm running out of body parts to sell to travel to see Bruce.....Although it might be worth it to see Nellie sing. really?

A source close to Bruce Springsteen has confirmed what two Chicago newspapers (the Sun-Times and Chicago Tribune) are reporting: that Bruce and the E Street Band will perform their landmark 1975 album Born to Run in its entirety when the tour touches down at the city’s United Center on September 20th.

It’s unclear whether the band plans to do any full-album performances on other dates on the tour, like Aerosmith, Mötley Crüe and more bands have been doing recently. Last year Springsteen performed Born to Run and Darkness On The Edge of Town at a fundraiser show at New Jersey’s Count Basie Theater (read Rolling Stone’s report here). Earlier this year we asked E Street guitarist Steve Van Zandt what album he’d like to perform straight through. “It’s gotta be The River,” he said. “I’d want to include the outtakes on the Tracks collection. Then you have a hell of a show. You don’t have to do anything else.”

Completely unsubstantiated Internet rumors that should be taken with a huge grain of salt claim that Springsteen will do one album a night during his five-night stand at Giants Stadium this September and October. But in the off chance the rumors are true — and based on very little (but our Springsteen intuition) — we predict he’ll do Greetings From Asbury Park, The Wild, The Innocent & The E Street Shuffle, Born To Run, Darkness On The Edge Of Town and Born In The USA.

Springsteen, who turns 60 in September, was recently asked by Italian Vanity Fair about his plans beyond this tour. “I think that the E Street Band will probably take a rest for a little while,” he said. “But it all will happen again. We’re lifers, we’re gonna go on forever.”

bruce is a good head.  it's bound to be a fun 5-6 nights at giant stadium stadium this early fall aswell as the shows he does in the us.  if i could rewind myself back to the '80's and the reasonable ticket prices and gas prices i would be all over it.  go bruce.  i look forward to the setlists and pdm's videos for free.

I'm sure those last 2 Philly shows sold out ~ I was there and I never saw such a crowded mob scene! The gates were literally a sea of people being pushed through in herds ~ it was outtacontrol! Philly is Bruce's backyard so he has a big fan base here. I dont know if I'm gonna go another round tho, I've seen him twice last year and twice this year. I might go. Not sure. Ticket prices are usually about $100 for an OK seat. Bruce has been generous with the number of shows here in the Northeast. I just gotta love that! BRUUUUUUUUUUUCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
