Congrats on the score, Bitch.

GA's were actually available again a couple of hours after the 10AM on sale.
Typical TM bait and switch.

Since the entire field is GA for these shows, it promises to be a clusterfuck of monumental proportions.

I'm taking a wait and see attitude until other - read: smaller - venues are announced.

Worse comes to worse there's always the 5PM day of show drops...  Wink

Yeah in the GA you tend to get pushed and shoved, but it's cool to push your way to the front! I like the side of stage area best at Giants Stadium, it's much closer to the stage than first row, which is set back. Only thing is I didnt see Clarence well from the right side, next time I'll do the left side. Thats where I saw MICK really close up, when the Stones had a runway thing going on. That was cool, baby!

Shorefire press release confirms two more Giants Stadium shows...

Fan Demand For Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band Tickets Prompts Addition Of Fourth And Fifth Giants Stadium Shows Oct 8 & 9

Oct 9 Show To Be Final Concert Ever At Giants Stadium

In response to fans' overwhelming demand, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band and The Meadowlands have announced fourth and fifth shows for Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band at Giants Stadium. These shows will take place Thursday, October 8 and Friday, October 9. The latter date will be the final concert at Giants Stadium. The concerts on September 30, October 2, and October 3 sold out in a matter of hours.

In a cover story on stands now, Q Magazine called a Springsteen concert "the greatest show on earth."

Tickets for these dates go on sale Monday, June 8 at noon Eastern via Ticketmaster. (They will be posted on Ticketmaster.com at 1 PM Eastern today.)

'Working on a Dream' (Columbia Records) debuted at #1 in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Holland, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and New Zealand and received exemplary reviews in Rolling Stone, Entertainment Weekly, People, and elsewhere.

Real or imagined, fans have applied a certain gravitas to the GS shows - especially 10/3.

IMO, a better way to handle it would've been to include 10/9 in yesterday's on sale and then make the earlier dates the added shows.

But since no other dates have been announced, there's no way of knowing for certain if they'll really be the "last" shows of the tour.

On another note, Bruce covered James Carr's soul classic 'The Dark End of The Street' tonight in Finland. Cool

8/22 and 8/23 shows at the Comcast Center (née Great Woods) in Mansfield MA have been confirmed.

Now the faithful can moan about the ESB playing sheds.

And Nelly can turn his front yard into a parking lot...

Fair nuff.

My .02 is that seeing any band live trumps YouTube every time.

Besides, for every vid the quality of 'Badlands' there are a hundred that induce seizures...

that goes without saying.

i used to see every [most] show back in the '80's...bruce is a great performer and is still kicking major ass on this tour.  the giants stadium shows this summer will no doubt be fun.  there will be lots of fist pumping.....just like jabba does.

piss off

I wonder if Cong. Pascrell will commence hearings about this latest outrage. I love that song (the James Carr version). It was also done in The Commitments.

If BruceCo were pragmatic they'd consider it.

Unlikely that they'd need to borrow those tarps from Schottenstein... Wink
