Not many surprises besides "Blinded," setlist-wise. "Little Latin Lupe Lu" was the back-catalog cover. From my side-rear seats, I saw Bruce next to Max's drum riser, perusing all the signs with his feet.

Overall a great performance -- high energy, a nice long stretch on "Kitty's Back," Patti in the house, Bruce in good spirits.

No way was I standing out for hours in that weather in the vain attempt to get my mug on a DVD. Much more comfortable back towards the mixing desk, where I hear you like to park yourself!

Yeah, the clock watchers noted that it was the second shortest show of the tour.
But imo it was a good night, set list wise.

LARS sounded ok on the phone, but the double nickel version sounds a lot better... Wink

Just home and Tommy Boy...so sorry, but the navigator got turned around and we couldn't make it to you. Peggy did get lots of "freebie samples" for you, however...

My one and only show this leg and it was really a great show!! I love the Seed-Johnny 99- and in our case Youngstown run in the show. Absolutely shows off the great musicianship of E Street!!

The show has an entirely different message this time around and it comes through loud and clear. Good Lovin' was a great treat-but hell I started crying when I heard the LARS riff. Made it a show to remember! Hard Time is a great song- in the Seeger vein - and was very well received in Pittsburgh. In fact it was a rocking audience all night- no one in their seats. And anytime I get Thunder Road, "it is all good!."

Now I just gotta hope Bruce wants to see his Hall of Fame exhibit and comes back around in the fall. Lefty and Nelly- you MUST be in the house if that happens.

One more for you Lefty, I think- then it will be Gazza's turn..... Cool
