There was indeed good rockin' tonight - and plenty of it.

Mona > She's The One (circa '78) still has me grinning.

I'm saving I Fought The Law for all day tomorrow... Wink

BTW, it was Dave Bielanko from Marah on Rosie, not Jack White.
Fedora and long black hair musta thrown some people off.

Well since I appear to be the only one one still alive out here in music city. I guess it's up to me to provide the first review. Yes traveling around the US is never easy these days. Espicially when you run into phanthom thunder storms that no one else but ground control can see. (note to self,Never go through Houston again).But an 1 1/2 late I made it to Music City. Deja Vu all over again. It's been 8 years since I have been in this God forsaken hell hole,and hopefully another 8 years before I come back. It's about 80 degrees with about 2000 percent humidity. But somehow I managed to find Lefty and Meggy. They didn't get into the pit. So I found them in line,then proceeded to kill an hour across the street at a local establishment. Let's go get drunk

...So I go in about 7:30. I find Lefty,a big boy who's hard to miss meggy has buried herself as close to the stage as possible. Me and Lefty hang by the soundboard and make friends with the locals....On with the show. What started out looking like like a business as usual setlist,took it's fair share of twist's and turns. Spirit in the night never gets old. Then he started taking signs,which resulted in Good Rockin Tonight,I'm Going Down,Growing Up. GU was awesome and went straight into Held Up Without A Gun. Even though the transition was smooth,I'm still guessing audible.Since it wasn't on the setlist I got from the soundbooth after the show. Murder Inc was also good. Not too many surprises from there. But me and Meg were very happy to get Thunder Road in the encore. All in all,another excellent show. You can't help but feed off of Bruce's enthusiasm. There is no such thing as a cookie cutter setlist with Bruce.....Well being that I am still on west coast time and Meg and Lefty have called it a night. Maybe it's time for me to do the same.....But I still have St. Louis to go. Maybe he will do a Chuck Berry cover. Would be nice considering the stones won't play any Chuck.....And with that,lt really is time to call it a night.

Holy shit!

I knew by the amount of voicemails I had that he'd pulled out all the stops. Some of them were a bit hard to make out, but it was quite a jaw dropper to hear "Good rockin tonight" (first appearance in 28 years)

I know I've said this several times - but he keeps outdoing himself - this is the most breathtaking setlist of the whole tour.

He's rewritten the book on what a rock n roll show should be with this tour.

Greetings from Nashville!!

OK..Didn't get into the "Blessed PIT" but hugged the back rail all night until my feet turned numb. Lovely French couple next to me and a local Nashville young pup to guard my spot the one time I ventured out before the show. Leftie might not be so "silly " standing back there by the soundboards-LOL

Great show! Such energy and enthusiasm and utter love for what they are doing- that is the E Street Band!! How do you say one show is better than the other, when no show is ever the same!! Mona/She's the One totally awesome, the best Youngstown I've ever heard with Nils tearing it apart,. the Walk the Line moment, Bruce dancng with a lady from the PIT older than me on the stage, and Good Rockin Tonight..

But I must say, that finally getting to hear Thunder Road was the best moment for me, followed by I Fought the Law!

Sad that this is my last Bruce show! We can only hope that he comes around again next year!!!
