StubHub or VividSeats has plenty of seats...PIT or otherwise.

https://www.vividseats.com/rolling-stones-tickets/performer/738

I usually use VividSeats Day of shows or games myself, but both are pretty legit.
I've been looking to see if a good enough deal comes up so I can dump/sell my LuckyDips.
But I usually seem to get PIT or floor LDs.

Just be aware of the delivery method for your tkts, that is up to the seller.

Neil Young & Crazy Horse just added to the JazzFest line up for the same weekend that the Stones are playing.

Not sure who Neil will be using as his second guitarist in that line up as Nils Lofgren will be on tour with Bruce  (in fact they're playing where I live around the same time). Probably Micah Nelson, as Poncho Sampedro has long retired.

Anyway, Neil is apparently the headliner on Saturday May 4th. Two days after the Stones' gig.

The tour starts in less than 4 months!
Plenty of standard priced seats popping up throughout.
Secondary markets prices also seem to be dropping.

Before you know it, summer's here and the time will be right for lucky dippin'!!....

A friend and I booked hotels and flights for NYC1, NYC2, Foxboro and Orlando...we're waiting for the prices on concert tickets to drop to actually buy them, cause 900-1500+about 200 in fees for a pit ticket is simply too fucking much (I don't need face value standard admission, would pay a bit more than that but not THAT much more for GA, but I'd gladly pay those 900 or what it was for the SMU package cause that was 900 with fees and early entry so it's worth it for me), which is why I am excited for the tour and anxious about the tickets to equal parts...

Guess the guys will start tour rehearsals soon, don't you think? Maybe in 2 weeks or so? With the new album and not having toured last year, they probably might start a bit sooner than just 4 weeks ahead as usual...

Check out Vivid Seats...pit tkts are $500-$700 + tax, (depending on the city)

https://www.vividseats.com/rolling-stones-tickets/performer/738

[size=12]Also, sec 140 at Metlife are great seats...and very easy to self upgrade, especially during Miss You with the exodus to the bathrooms.
Thats where all the LD will likely end up as they did in2019....they are right above the field access breezeways.

Good Luck!/size]

Thanks for the info! Have you bought tickets on Vividseats before? I don't really trust that it says the ticket will be deliverer to your phone on the day of show, or max. 3 days before the show...this sounds to me that those people re-selling the tickets don't even have them yet themselves but already are selling them...so what happens if they can't get them themselves in the first place to then deliver them? We'll be travelling across the pond and then stand in front of the stadium ticketess, not gonna risk that...I just don't understand why there are no direct transfers available, or next to none, maybe 4 tickets in an entire stadium out of all that are being sold promise a direct transfer, all others are on-day delivery or even worse, local pick-up, which is even dumber, cannot have some rando walk me into the stadium with his mobile and then leave, what if they wanna check again inside?! ::)

I use them all the time. As a matter of fact...I'll be using them today to buy Pitbull / Ricky Martin tickets.
I usually use them for Hockey games as I tend to decide the day of since they are all the time.

I bought my Stones Buffalo tkts there last time. When the show cancelled, I had my money back (all of it)  in 72 hours.
I hope that helps.
StubHub is also reliable, but tends to be a bit more expensive.

As far as not having the tkts until just before the show...isnt that what the Stones do with Lucky Dips?
At least with Vivid, you know exactly where the seats are that you are buying.

If you go to the stadium, you will get a ticket no matter the method...
Hell, you can use Vivid while at the pre-party and have your tkt within minutes.
There's also plenty of solo folks with LDs, like myself.
I'm not sure what I am doing with my second tkt...maybe just give it away as I walk to will call.
I tend to get Pit or floor center every time, so lets see if that continues.
Even if its a bad seat, I self upgrade or just ask for better seats from guest services.
Enough about me though.

The day of miracle tkts are long gone, I know that.
It's been years since someone simply handed me a free tkt...last time was 2002 Licks tour in DC....but then again, tkts were $10- $20 in the lot regardless.
2015 I scored 2 great floor seats in the lot in BUF for $180...thats was pretty much the last miracle tkt I scored at a big show like that.
I Don't go to stadium shows other than Stones, so not sure the what goes on really at others.

Either way, good luck. I hope your decisions work out.

Thanks for the insights! It's good to know that it works well for getting your money back when te event is cancelled, I have read some other stuff from people who used other re-seller sites and they weren't so lucky with getting their money back in that case.

You got me wrong, it's not about wanting the ticket in my hand (or rather on my phone) right away just to have it...but rather that I don't fully trust re-selling sites. As I understand the principle (but maybe I' wrong), tickets that are listed with a transfer date that is the week or day of the show aren't actually currently in posession of the person selling them (or why else wouldn't they directly transfer them?) So if they don't have the ticket yet, who guarantees that they will manage to get it and then re-sell it to me?

That exact problem happened to my friend's colleague when we went to the show in Berlin in 2022, he "bought" a ticket on a re-seller site, being told he would get the ticket later...but the re-seller didn't manage to actually still get a ticket themselves, so they told my friend's colleague a few days before the show that they didn't have the ticket...fortunately he got his money back (and managed to find a ticket on Ebay he could pick up from the seller) but what happened there is exactly what I'm worried about when using Vividseat or any other re-seller that tells me I'll only get my ticket the day of the show...

Ever since the exchanges changed their payment terms in 2020 to after event, sellers transfer the tickets as late as possible (so if the exchange goes out of business they aren't out tickets). Now if someone is using VividSeats proprietary point of sale system Skybox, they get paid on delivery and may transfer right away.

I rarely buy more than a few hours though.

I would recommend completely avoiding Stubhub. If you don't believe me, spend 5 mins on the Stubhub reddit. I use Tickpick 1st, Vivid 2nd, mainly Vivid is easier to navigate on my phone but final purchase may be same ticket on Tickpick which uses both all in pricing and is still honoring my broker discount tho I haven't sold in about 2 years.

Have Lucky Dips for Houston, Glendale, LA1 and Santa Clara.

WOW!
All great info...Thanks @ijwthstd.
I agree with your comment on Vivid...much more phone friendly.
Never had any issues.
I'll try TickPic next time...never have before.

Scored great seats for Pitbull the other evening for my Glimmer Twins...
they were thrilled with the seats I was able to secure for them
about 2 hours before showtime.

You are totally Bookending this tour...NICE!!

EDIT:

Just bought 2 tkts on Vivid for KMFDM this Thursday
They were half price from box office too !!

I stopped by the location of the 2013 rehearsals. I only stayed like 5 minutes. Complex seems bigger. There was a bit of thumpety thump coming out of entrance one (which I don't remember even being in existence). A few people hanging around the door of the studio they used in 2013 but I sat down on the curb, didn't stop and stare. A Lyft picked someone up but the windows were tinted. Walked by again and the door was closed. Might check it out again next week.

Place is probably always in use. No Doubt for example just started rehearsals. Also right by there is a mini Sphere used associated with the Vegas location probably used for production/graphics development.

Thanks again to everyone giving tips about tickets and telling us to wait, it's totally worth being patient and checking all the ticketing sites multiple times a day! This week, we finally managed to snatch up Pit A for Orlando at face value (re-sold by someone who can't go anymore) and last night we were lucky enough to check TM just at the right time to see exactly only 2 SMU packages for Pit A appear (for the normal price) that we managed to get after a bit of hassle...

It seems that TM doesn't accept Visa or Mastercard when buying a vip package, only Amex at least that's what we experienced last night...anyway, we got it in the end and now we only still need tickets for both NJ shows, getting more excited now for the tour to start every single day! :D

I was a little surprised to see resale tickets for Sofi-2 get-ins at under $60 now. But also geezers are, anecdotally at least, going to far less shows than pre-pandemic while 95% of the bands who ever existed are on tour this year.

Well and there also is the cost-of-licing crisis, I have read from many people that they can only afford one show this tour, some even said they just can't afford it at all which is sad...being a fan for 40+ years or so and then not being able to get tickets cause the ticketing market is entirely insane...

But it's good to know that the prices are starting to drop now for some shows, I hope the others are soon following suit, Pit for the 2 NJ shows are still at over 1k, that's total rip-off for normal Pit when SMU package is about 880 (with fees, which obviously also is a lot but i/'s at least the original price and no re-sale extorsion)  >:( ...dunno how realistic it is to eventually get normal pit for 750 tops (with fees) but we're hoping and waiting...

I went to 2013 location again. Heard some distant drums and also further off a droning / fire alarm type sound - this is more of a commercial industrial airport near an airport. I walked around the neighborhood a bit, 2 other rehearsal studios on that same street but the smaller 24 hour lockout local bands use and share. Walked by again and heard nothing but there is definitely activity there and they have around 14 studios of varying sizes onsite.

Then I went to the 2015 location. The problem is it's a very deep complex on a major street. It goes back at least 2 football fields from the main gate. Can't hear anything. I suspect this may be the one but just not much I can do. Spent like 5 minutes in the vicinity and went home. Not a very comfortable spot to just hang out. I only care if I can hear. Celebrity sightings are a daily occurrence here and not very interesting on their own.

No autograph seekers at either location.

There are dozens if not hundreds of rehearsal studios in LA even if not all can accommodate that setup. It's difficult to stake them out all out and the signs might not be obvious from the street if I am not hearing Rolling Stones music. Might check out the 2013 location again but pretty sure that's not it.

Ride, couch, ride from airport etc. I actually just booked a flight from San Diego to Houston to Burbank, still don't have a room, gonna decide between AirBnB and hotel in the next day or so. But Houston is just so massive with the airport and stadium at opposite ends.

Glendale as of now if I don't find anyone driving from LA might do the midnight Flixbus or take a flight and a city bus goes right from PHX airport area to stadium.

No one I know seems to care in the least and seems like more than a few fans hit the brick wall between last tour and now.

edited to add: EVen if no one comes through I will still have the ticket. LD's.

I've always admired Palladino.

First time I saw him was when he performed with Paul Young back in the early 1980s.

I'm watching pit tickets closely...AXS had vip pit tickets show up again last week for Houston and they stayed up for multiple days, last night for a few hours they even put face value pit tickets back on sale for that show

Do you think this also will happen for other venues and Ticketmaster will do the same as AXS the closer we get to these other shows?

three times i have predicted that an announced (by BV and/or the Stones)
tour would be postponed, and three times i have been correct

it seems likely to me that the first show this year Apr 28 Houston will
be postponed.

but right now i'm guessing the rest of the tour will proceed as scheduled

Ahhh people going to Houston are so lucky, they'll get Gary Clark Jr. as a supporting act! (The official Stones IG just shared a story about it)

Hope I won't have to endure the Ghost Hounds more than once this tour...Berlin 2022 already was more than enough  :-X

Nothing will be postponed, as always Rev is just throwing around ludicrous ideas...the only way I see Houston being postponed is like, some hurricane showing up over the Gulf of Mexico or whatever but maybe that would much rather effect New Orleans then xD well let's not hope so...

Someone on FB posted this about the rehearsals:

"Listened to rehearsal past Friday and this is what they have played. Might be missing one song in the end.

SPOILER:

———————————————

- Let It Bleed
- Under My Thumb x 2
- Gimmie Shelter incl. intro multiple times
- Mess it Up x 3
- She’s a Rainbow
- Heatbreaker
- Bite My Head Off x 2
- Sweet Virginia
- Angie
- Little T&A"

and also mentioned that:
"Also apparently all but 3 (tbc) HD songs have been rehearsed at some point."

You guys wanna guess which 3 songs they didn't rehearse (yet)? I go with Rolling Stone Blues and Driving Me Too Hard being two of them, unfortunately...would be lovely to hear them but sadly I doubt they'll ever play Rolling Stone Blues live...dunno what the 3rd one might be...but I sure hope they'll be playing Dreamy Skies and Depending on You at least once

No I'm talking about the documentary about the making of Hackney Diamonds that they have been teasing in some of those interviews last autumn when the new album came out, and clearly some of that footage they used in album promos (from the studio as well as from the album announcement in Hackney as well as from the Racket gig) looks like it's veen explicitly shot for something like a documentary...so I (and probably many others as well) have been wondering for a while now when we'll get to see this documentary, but if they're planning to add some scenes from the rehearsals and the upcoming tour, then obviously it would explain why nobody has been mentioning it anymore in a while, if it's not done yet...

It's basically referring to people posting and discussing the rehearsal setlists as "insiders" lol so idk how seriously to take this because they clearly got all their info from FB and IORR and maybe also from here  ;D
But it also says that apparently next year they're coming back to Europe!

I listened to the Stones performing Drift Away about a week ago. I've heard that Mick says that the tape drags somewhere in the song but I couldn't detect that myself and I'm usually sensitive to such audio glitches. I know it's a pipe dream, but I wish they'd perform it again this tour and release the recording.

Before heading to the US in 26 days to attend 4 Stones shows, I'll be seeing one of my favourite younger modern-day bands, Pvris, live for the 3rd time next week...they got a new album out and I just saw the setlist from the first show of their tour last night: they played 24 songs in total and of those 10 out of 11 from the new album

This made me wonder why can't the Stones do that?! They totally could imo...I know they won't but what speaks against playing all 10 (or maybe at least 8) of the new songs that they rehearsed at every show? That still leaves enough space for the war horses

I just looked up the war horses they always play and those are:

Satisfaction
Start Me Up
Tumbling Dice
Street Fighting Man
Midnight Rambler
Jumpin Jack Flash
Honky Tonk Women
Paint it, Black
Sympathy for the Devil
Gimme Shelter
You Can't Always Get What You Want

Those are 11 songs...imo they can leave out YCAGWYW since they got SSOH now that would make 10 War Horses and 8 songs from the new album plus one more Keith song cause he got Tell Me Straight on the new one...(or they could just play 20 songs)

I'd MUCH rather get to hear as many new songs as possible and not IORR, LARS or Wild Horses (insert any other of those rotation songs) for the 5th time...

Tbh except for Kaleo (whom I saw opening for the Stones in Munich in 2017) and the Pretty Reckless (whom I gonna see opening for AC/DC in July), I don't know any of those bands...Betty LaVette only from Steve's IG seeing how he produced her latest record...

That's a downright double bill!!

I asked a couple of friends who are Panicheads about Stones covers that Panic plays.
Typical Stones covers are SFTD, JJF, DF, Happy, DDDDD(H), and Time Waits for No One.

Wouldnt it be crazy if Jagger came out for TWFNO?!?
It's never been played live by the Stones.

So what do y'all think about the new stage? I actually really like it, sure it's simple compared to what they put up in the 90s e.g. but it's so much better than the Sixty stage, the screens are huge and seem to be really great quality :) almost makes me wish we didn't wanna be in the pit for every show we are attending, so we could see more of the stage LOL but only almost^^

Maybe that's why Seattle is getting Joe Bonamassa? It seems to be a really slow seelling show, you can get all-in tix on Tickpick for 29 dollars, insane...could this also be the reason fot it being the only show where TM doesn't allow re-sell tickets for pit bevause they already cannot get rid of all the others? I was just wondering because it's a bit curious that there are re-sale pit tickets for every show on TM except Seattle...I read on IORR that someone wasn't even allowed to put his ticket on TM for resale because they can't get rid of them...this is insane, why are there so little Stones fans around this area? I mean Seattle is a rich region, right? People there shouldn't have too many problems with the ticket prices, I figure as compared to, let's say, maybe Denver or Glendale idk

Just a guess...but in my mind at least...SEA has a higher younger demographic.
All my under 40 friends appreciate my passion for the Stones...they like the Stones...they ask what shows Im going to this time, etc.
In other words, they are certainly in the know about what's going on due to their news feeds, I assume.
BUT,  they really don't care about seeing a few 80 year olds playing songs they've heard a few hundred times over the years on the radio, TV, films, ads, etc.

It would be the equivalent of me being 40 in 2004 and going to see
the likes of (I had to wiki all this BTW) Bing Crosby, Perry Como, Dinah Shore...all whom were in the top 40 sixty years prior in 1944.
I might be off a bit in that comparison, but as they say here on these boards..."Dudes are old!"

Title: Re: NEXT year's tour is OFFICIALLY now THIS year's tour!

I guess you got a pretty good point there about the age demographic, I mean if they aren't one of your fave bands, you also wouldn't pay that much money for at least halfway decent seats...not all younger fans feel like they're born in the wrong generation after all (as my friends and I do LOL) but probably go see younger artists instead of wanting to see the Stones...this doesn't mean I don't also love younger artists like e.g. the Struts or Måneskin or Brigitte Calls Me Baby, but in general I just love 60s-80s music altho I only was born in the 90s ;D

But what I gathered in the silver pit in Munich and in Golden circle at Hyde Park in 2022 (which were decent tickets for not TOO much money), there definitely were loads of 20-30 yos there who just wanted to see the Stones live once in their lives

So maybe if they had a bigger GA and not so many overpriced seats in the golden circle area, they would attract more younger people who tend to wanna have okay-ish spots in the standing area...but on the other hand, their main demographic is getting too old to stand all show I suppose

They don't need to play anything obscure like Citadel or Casino Boogie imo, I just meant that even IF they played all 10 or 12 war horses they could still fill up the rest of the slots with new songs only, I'd much rather get to hear something of HD instead of Out of Time or Wild Horses

And I think also those people who only go to one show would rather apprecciate Mess it Up and WWW imo cause they maybe heard it on the radio and not something like Sad Sad Sad...so just scratch the rotation songs and play the war horses plus the new album...that was what I meant

I remember on the Licks tour in Europe they added AC/DC to the bill at some slower selling shows in Germany.  I'm sure its happened since. Maybe the late 2006 US tour? There were firesales galore on that ill-fated leg.

Nineteen shows on this tour. Two of them are in the North West - Seattle and Vancouver are only 140 miles apart.  A bit of over-saturation there.

They played Seattle in 2019, so they only missed out in 2021.

From what I can see, they haven't played Vancouver since 2006.

If you live in the west coast of Canada and are only going to go to one show, you're not going to be making the trip across the border.

Hmm maybe if they wanted Seattle to sell better they should have chosen Toronto or Montreal then in Canada for all the Canadians to go there,  seeing how it surely wouldn't influence the sells for the east cost shows, considering how everyone seems to wanna go to NJ or Foxboro anyway...

Then maybe some west coast Canadians who didn't wanna travel all across Canada rather would have went to Seattle instead ;D

Or instead of Seattle just play a 19th show in Mexico City, I'm sure that one would have sold out within days, seeing how the Latin American fans are...and they still could have called it a North America tour ;D

Vancouver lost a show in whatever tour that was, 2019 or 2022, cant recall.
They are only playing A-cities on this tour.
Toronto, for a 5th show, too close to Boston, the tri-state, and Philly.

The west coast should be able to handle 2 shows 150 miles apart.
They are both large enough markets...but who really knows, right?
