She gives an insider’s perspective on the cultural impact of the event, detailing why it happened, what went wrong and how the concert marked the end of the 60s hippie dream.

Georgia is joined by others who worked with the Rolling Stones at the Altamont concert on December 6, 1969 - including their Business Manager Ron Schneider, the Tour Manager Sam Cutler, Production Designer Chip Monck, film maker Albert Maysles, photographer Eamon McCabe and journalist Michael Lydon.

My father’s film of Altamont sat in a cardboard box for 44 years until I finally had it digitized in 2013. My mother’s memories of the concert were recorded at her kitchen table on Nov 17, 2019. She’ll be celebrating her 82nd birthday on Dec 6, 2019, the 50-year anniversary of the Altamont Free Concert. - Fred Fischer

What exactly does the lady in the Altamont home movie video mean when she says she just went hoping to see Jagger strut in his "orange parachute pants"? I don't seem to recall that outfit in 1969.
