I reached into the cd stash while driving yesterday and pulled this one out. It sounded so good. I really enjoy that one. You put a few of those finished songs on Some Girls that could have been more epic. Some Girls is our Thriller.

Sorry to bother you, but does anyone know if there are many versions of 'Everlasting...' out there and is there much information on the recording of that track?
There is this one as the first track on a boot - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l2HvjDpLRsA - with the bass loud and pumping alongside lovely slide, which summed up how the album often mixed funk with country. Is the bass definitely Wyman? Was it recorded just after he was sent of to Studio 54 - wearing little silk shorts no doubt - to learn the groove-ropes?

You know, the Stones calling a record Emotional anything must signify that they had little faith in the other tracks.

So thank God for that song, or we would have ended up with an LP called Where the Boys Go.

I have been listening to the bonus CD too and its real good! Its got everything form country to blues to rock and Claudine's back in jail again is the best sing IMO. Some very funny lyrics on these tunes. Enjoyable!
