Flashback: King Crimson Open for the Rolling Stones in Hyde Park

“This was a move to the international stage,” Robert Fripp later said of the enormous free gig. See a clip of the band playing prog classic “21st Century Schizoid Man”

Levin is truly the greatest bass player ever...and one hell of a nice guy...Belew, I have seem too many times to count...The 81 and 82 shows in NY were amazing!! Some of the greatest musically enlightening  nights I have ever had...RIP Pier 84!!

I have only really known the Discipline and THRAAK KCs...and the ProjeKCts (which were interesting but only so-so IMO)

Yes, I agree that the 1981 - 1982 shows were great I was at the Savoy shows onlym

They must do something beyond the double quartet inviting all the surviving former members, including Adrian Belew, Dr. Bill Bruford, PhD (retired), Ian McDonald and some more

If only...Last time I spoke to Belew, May 2017,  I asked him about Crimson, he made no secret about it, Fripp and he are on the outs...Fripp does not think Belew is a proper fit for the band any longer...I then asked about him about Trent Reznor, and he just shrugged his shoulders...I dont think the recording sessions he did with NIN were to his liking...Reznor is a total control freak by reputation...He was out of NIN as sudden as he was in...too bad, I thought that would have been amazing...

Do you know that Adrian Belew is not a former member but is in undefined (or sometthing like that) status, really, Fripp said  that for several members ż, they are part of the company but on vacation!
