Exile may be the greatest album the Stones (or arguably,a anyone) ever made but Some Girls was the one that really made me a fan and remains my sentimental favourite.

Lyrically, its Mick Jagger's finest hour for me.

I was a little girl when Some Girls came out. My older sister visited for a while and left behind a copy of Some Girls (along with Undercover and Slow Hand). Being just a kid, I knew very little about the Stones and had no idea what they looked like. Thus, when I saw the cover of Some Girls, I thought they should have hired prettier models. :loloncemore

I'm pretty sure this "interview" is from 2011 and none of it was recent.

They need another swift kick in the ass again in order to get a great new album!

I remember the summer this album was released and it was played quite a bit on the radio and in the bars and on the turntables. It was very popular in the NY area. Very big deal.
