So, with Prague and Warsaw getting nearer (hell yeah, I couldn't hold myself and got a ticket for Warsaw as well 8-) ) I was wondering how many hours earlier you have to get to the venue, if you have a Pit B ticket and want to get way up at the very front row.

Gazza has been kind enough to give me his two cents on this over at Facebook, but I'd like to hear as many personal experiences as I can! This will be the 4th and 5th time I see these guys live, and I obsessively want to be at the rail ;D

So, how many hours before? And what the heck do you do with getting food, beer or getting to the toilet, if you don't have any other people to keep your space? Warning: I'm not very good at all at making new friends out of strangers and asking them to hold my beer while I go around the venue :P

Gazza and I managed to finally get into the PitB for Dublin (why was it so hard??) about 20 min before they hit the stage (Gazza? 20 min...maybe 30?) And we were in there with about 12 others...it filled up but there was
plenty of room all evening long. However...if you are talking Prague/Warsaw...that may be a different story as they are a bit more starved for this sort of event IMO...I dont think you have to camp out all day though...

BTW...I would try to stick to the rail along the runway or at the corner...not so much along the stage...however, you will get better pictures a bit away from the rails...so my pics from Dublin I posted

I've already exchanged messages with SV, LJ, thanks for the suggestion! Still not sure whether I'll hit a 12-hour shift at the venue or take my chances and show up later, but I'll figure it out eventually. ;D
