additionally Saddam has written me to say he did it because too many Bono lovers
complained, and that there was no possibility of me ever being re-admitted to IORRaq

(also, it should be noted that i did not actually say one bad word about either Bono
or Humphrey. I just compared them, anything derogatory was in the mind of
the reader. Plus, in the same thread, i had praised Edge and their bass guy)

Mick took this gorgeous photo of Luciana on Mustique (when Melanie was there too)
and Mick had Luciana put it up on her instagram (for reasons i have discussed on
shidoobee). I mean, it wasn't a secret, it was on public instagram (still is) and
had already made it into the tabloids. But all-knowing Bjornulf overruled Mick and banned it

a quote from "salt of the earth" and a quote from a mick interview.

I will now take this matter further.

The excuse Bjornulf Vik has used over and over, to me
and others, is that he does not have the time to personally
consider any of the complaints he supposedly receives, so
Bjornulf Vik just bans him or her to save time.

So, let's give him the benefit of the doubt, and pretend
that he only bans people and deletes posts because he does
not have the time to properly moderate the IORR forum.

Okay then, Bjornulf Vik, then here is what you need to do
to remedy the current totally unacceptable situation, where

I have a lot of respect for Bjornulf, let me tell you something, nobody on the web and outside the web work so hard for the Rolling Stones fans, he is also my friend, met him in person in Argentina and Mexico

Like you VooDoo, as you know, I met him in Mexico and also met him again in Dublin last week. I read his personal account of the show and have changed my mind about him. I no longer hold a grudge as the fact that I was also banned...though I habe never confronted him about it...I would not have done it at your wonderful party and by last week, it was "yesterday's papers". He is a very nice guy and as you said...it's his forum. He can run it anyway he wants to.

Obviously I disagree, Voodoo, but I regard you, Gazza, and Stonesdoug as a
sort of Supreme Court on the issue of Stones-related censorship of fans. The
Supreme Court can make bad decisions, but those decisions are final, unless
the Supreme Court itself reverses itself at some future date.

I had an absolutely ripping next post all prepared, continuing what I regard as
a very necessary discussion about what is essentially the suppression of the Rolling
Stones themselves by certain misguided policies at that other website, but it turns
out that discussion is simply not possible anywhere in this currently insane politically
correct climate.

So be it. Cheers all.

(and people wonder why the Stones refuse to put out any of their new Jagger/Richards material LOL)

Oh its upsetting to experience rejection by the RS boards. I have had my posts deleted from every board, including here! There is only so far you can go before you go too far. In todays world, it becomes complex, censorship is needed more in recent days where people are offended very easily, even if your intentions are good and your posts are true. That said, I don't agree in censoring because it stifles freedom of speech. However, you cant yell fire in a theatre. My suggestions would be to create a brand new profile if you really want to be there. Or fvck it altogether.

however, IORR is a bit of a weird place as you cant say anyhting negative about the band without getting flamed by the members there...blind worship is the formula by those members...( or most ) it seems.

There are some there now even adamantly denying that tonight's show in Southhapmton has even a remote chance of getting cancelled...though there are various pointers to that direction...

It was about L'wren Scott's suicide. My opinion was not too popular at the time because I said she did it to get back at MICK but other people said its mental illness, etc. and there was a big fuss about that heated topic.

Yeah, there isn't much you can do if they hide it. The problem is that too many people who have never suffered real depression realize how bad it is and don't take it seriously when a loved one is depressed. If hear someone say something like "They'll snap out of it soon" you can be sure that's what is happening. Worse, sometimes the person's relatives, SO, etc, dismisses depression as a bid for attention or an attempt to manipulate them. Or they just don't realize how bad their loved one's depression is until it's too late. All in all, my advice is to take it seriously when a loved one seems depressed, especially if they have a history of depression and/or a traumatic background (a abuse survivor or the like).
