Title: RIP John Wetton
Post by Voodoo Child in Wonderland on Jan 31st, 2017 at 12:27pm
Another great left us, I met this great musician in person and had a conversation with him in the early 00s, he was also a great person.

Some of his bands: Family, King Crimson, UK, Uriah Heep, Wishbone Ash, Asia between others

In a few months King Crimson's first bass players and lead vocalists passed, Greg Lake and John Wetton

what a resume. had tickets to see UK warming up for TULL in 79 but didnt make it. saw him with ASIA in 82 unfortunately.  powerful voice and bassist his years with crimson were IMO their best that 74 road to red box proves it beyond a shadow of a doubt. rest in peace
