I never knew Roberto Duran was half Mexican! His father was an American soldier of Mexican descent stationed at the Panama Canal . . . Anyways, it's a good movie! Funny and sad at times!

Funny how they refer to him as "el Cholo". In Latin America, a "cholo" is an Indian. And, yes, most of us, Mexicans have Native American roots.

*In the U.S., "a cholo" refers to a gang-banger.
