A weeks worth...the RO servers were " not available" yesterday...I am guessing that the reset had to go to a restore/recover point.

This happened not too long ago...a year maybe?

In the options submenu of your profile, you can check to notify you of new pms by email. The email will contain the message so you can read it. It gave me no trouble accessing my options, so I guess this would be a temporary quick fix.

I can read pms since I've set the board to email me but I still can't open them here. Anyone who wants to pm me, go ahead and I'll put my email address in the title of the pm to you.

I'm still wondering what happened to cause all this. I thought it was probably that the server died and the admins had to use a week-old backup of the board but that doesn't explain the problems we're having now. What gives?

I know what you mean Egon...there was some amazing COMEDY GOLD in that week we lost...I, too, am holding back for fear that my thoughts may not be there for historical (or is it hysterical) reflection in years to come...

But so glad we have RO...for there is no humor at IORR...I know...humor is what got me banned from there.
