Is EC having health problems? Hurts to play? Surely his knuckles can't be as swollen as Keith's.

Gazza, please look into this.

EC has been saying this for a while. But he in his early 70's right? Things catch up with you. Love the guy. Always have. All incarnations. Just listened to an old Cream BBC sessions CD the other day. Great stuff. But if he's not up to it. Don't force it.

I'm not even 40 yet and I'm already experiencing problems in my hands due to nerve impingement. I can sympathize!

He just knows he's getting old and is dealing with I think. It's a good way to do it. I think Keith and Charlie are OK with getting old, Keith sometimes really seems to enjoy it. Mick and Ronnie? Dancers and twins lol. They pull it off well enough, for now.

Clapton. What a career he had. He had many musical duds, but also a lot of nice things. My respects.

He doesnt know exactly when his health is going to give up so I guess he might feel the need to wrap it up just in case this is his last record. He has had a long career so if he thinks its time to retire, its ok, and thanks for the music Eric!

Exactly E. He's earned the right to go out on his own terms.
