This has always been my favorite Stones album...always thought that during the makeing of...they were determined and focused with a target within their sights

Return to roots rocking with a vengeance, except now the Stones are the ones making it all theirs.

I wish JJF had somehow found its way onto that album, first song on side 1.

Good read with some cool insight into that album. Jimmy Miller was huge in helping the Stones produce what came out on Beggar's Banquet. Gly Johns called Miller a "groove merchant."

LIB is great of course as is SF. Most people rate Exile as their masterpiece, I know.
But to me BB always was and still is their best album ever.
