So has anyone else bought it? It's not bad, especially for anyone living in Australia. A lot of that stuff was either never released, or released in an edited format down here. I always hoped they do an extended versions LP, so this is perfect, but costly. 1971-2006, that's a lot of ground to cover.

Talkin' 'bout the London Years Singles Collection?

I bought it back in '03 or so.
Played the piss out of it back then, but haven't spun it in a while.

Might do it tonight.

The London Years came out in 1989...around the time Steele Wheels came out...it was ABCKOs way of cashing in on the "New Stones"...and their return to the road after 7 years or so...

this must be anew box set...if it goes to 2006...I just hope you are not talking about some uber-delux set of GRRRR!!

You're right PA, the first one was released as a 3CD set box and alterante versions on tape and vinyl

The second, the one I think gypsymofo is talking about is the one released in 2006 in CDs, each CD for each single, 45 CDs in the one from 1971 to 2006

Played all three discs straight through last night while mopping the floors, cleaning the loo, etc.

That's the one. I'm well aquainted with the 1989 Abkco Singles 3cd set, and the 60s individual sets like 66-69. No this has 45 reproduced singles, including extended mixes, it's brand-spanking Noo!

There is a cute little Singles Collections I bought where all the CD's look like little vinyl records. I actually never played any of them because why bother playing one song at a time? It's such a cute package and I love it anyway.

I dunno... those spikes look awfully metallic. Looking at that makes me think an equally metallic chastity device might b a good idea!
