And why they can't sound like that song and guitars is beyond me.

I mean I can listen to guitars like that all day long.

Anyone know what I mean?

I agree...they sound crisp and nasty!!
The entire song is amazing...from the opening strums straight to Charlies cymbal crash ...into the treble sound of more guitar...and the sublime sax as it eases into your brain with a surgeons skill...The bass is just booming along like a heart bursting...the guitars are all over the place like a swarm of hornets and butterflies at the same time...most times i cant decide which guitars to be playing on the steering wheel!!

I do play it over and over in the car!!
It is easily a 15+ mile song on the interstate!!!

Keith had a great rockabilly type of playing much of that album. Little T&A has it too.

Very simply- Emotional Rescue does more before 9am than most albums do all day.
