Legendary Irish band U2 will likely be calling Vancouver home for the next month in preparation for their 2015 world tour.

Reports say that the band has booked the Pacific Coliseum for a month to practice for its iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE tour, which begins with shows at Rogers Arena on May 14 and 15 before heading to the U.S. and Europe.

While the booking is not confirmed, there are no events at the Coliseum listed on pne.ca until May 20.

In total, the band will play in 19 cities worldwide on the tour, which follows the release of its 13th studio album, Songs Of Innocence.

The other Canadian stops include Montreal’s Bell Centre on June 12, 13, 16 and 17 and Toronto’s Air Canada Centre on July 6 and 7.

Lead singer Bono says he is working hard to be ready for the tour. He was seriously injured in a bike crash in New York City last November.

Coldplay vocalist Chris Martin and Bruce Springsteen stepped in for the injured singer at a surprise show in Times Square shortly after the incident.

A nice summer for Rock n Roll!!

I wish them well on the tour, with Bono's injury I hope he is in good shape again.

I'm seeing them in San Jose in May.

I was hoping they would come back to North Carolina or close by...their shows are ALWAYS exciting and the sound is PERFECT (how do they do it?). I last saw them at Carter Findley where the Stones are playing and that 360 tour was so much bigger than the venue...and the sound and sights were RICH in every way...

They also take interline audience requests...as in..."name 1 or 2 we should add to the set"...as opposed to a "fixed poll"...all my choices were added!!
