So who's  joining in the fun besides me????

Buffalo pre-party info:

With much thanks to Shidoobee's mattman

The pre-party will be at Danny's South www.dannysrestaurant.com which is located DIRECTLY ACROSS FROM THE STADIUM, on the corner of Abbot Road and Southwestern Blvd, next to the Bills parking Lot 4...AGAIN....IT IS DIRECTLY ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE STADIUM and very easy to find.

Danny's will be providing a designated parking area for Shidoobees/RO'ers.  We will need an exact head count for those driving that plan to park at Dannys so that they hold you a parking spot.  Not sure what Dannys will be charging to park.  Our guess is $10-$20...no more than they usually charge on gameday. 

Danny's will be providing us with our "tailgate party"....outdoor shelter, grub, tables, chairs, utensils, etc.  I figure with so many visiting from out of town, this would be the easiest way to just chill and party like the Stones are in town or something.

The menu will consist of things like Buffalo wings, mini roast beef on weck sandwiches (both staples of Buffalo cuisine), along with potato salad, mac n cheese, etc.  Soda and ice will also be provided.

We will have bus service to and from Dannys.  The buses will be picking up at the Hampton Inn in West Seneca and another location that will be EASY TO FIND in West Seneca.  That way, you have the option of driving in from another hotel and still catching one of the buses.

The bus service charges us by the hour for the FULL DAY.  Basically, they park that fucker at the stadium while we do our thing.  As of right now, the bus service is looking to cost less than $20 per person.  Again, bus service will be to and from stadium.  Most likely the buses will pickup at 3pm so we can get to the party by 4pm.

All of the above mentioned is nearly finalized but we do not have exact prices yet.  It is our hope to keep the total for both the bus ride and the shelter/food no more than $50.00.

AS WE GET CLOSER I WILL BE POSTING A FORMAL SIGN UP IN A SEPARATE THREAD AND SUPPLY YOU WILL PAYPAL INFO AS WE NEED PAYMENT FOR THE BUS AND BUFFET/SHELTER UP FRONT.


Our stadium is in a rural area and not accessible by public transport. MAJOR PROPS to Matt for securing us reserved space in the closest bar/restaurant to the venue. The alternative was to try and get everyone there in cars, park close to each other, and haul food. In other words, a major pain in the ass. By being at Danny's we have access to the bar, shelter from the weather and BATHROOMS.

So a few years ago, my mother-in-law got us one of those digital picture frames that allows you to upload pictures and it rotates the pix in a picture show.

The other day I was looking at it and there were some of the "consummation" shots on the rotation.  I have no idea how long they have been on there, or who has seen them!!!

So yeah, I suspect she has seen some of that 2013 adventure.

Yep know the feeling was with wife and kids at 97 playoffs at old Foxboro they thru beer on us. With kids damn pats fans. Funny we are better at huge concerts then games. Working out airline now. But very likely to do your preconcert get together. And it's was both a/c the cancellation and make up too. Hoping for good weather for all who go to any show as that's the chance we take. Honestly I thinked they priced fairly. Too bad Shelly Lazar now longer involved. Or as close as days gone by.

Unlike the preparty I do not need totals. This is strictly a pay as you go event.

Donations to the Food Bank of Western New York will be encouraged and greatly appreciated.

I confirmed yesterday that the Courtesy "Drunk Shuttle" will be available TO The Cove and BACK to the West Seneca hotels. Gratuity to the driver will be expected, naturally.

The DJ will be spinning lots (if not ALL) Stones tunes. We are also expecting a mini set of live Stones music from various local musicians.

Other than that relax on the patio bar, order some great food and get the weekend off to a Stonesy start.

ladyjane do you know how seats are numbered for buffalo on floor as I just scored what I think are good ones for buffalo sec E row 21 my issue is I am flying up from fla and damn if airfare isn't high. Bringing daughter otherwise would have waited like I usually do and buy closer to show when they drop good side stage seats which I am doing for Orlando.

For those driving in, Danny's will be providing a designated parking area for Shidoobees/Rocks Off. Car/ truck parking will be $20, while motorcyle parking will be $10. I will be setting up another thread regarding parking.

THIS IS OUR PRIVATE PARTY...NOTHING SHOULDER TO SHOULDER....NO WAITING IN LINE FOR A TABLE, SERVER, ETC...ALL ON PRIMETIME REAL ESTATE, WITH OUR CLOSEST FRIENDS

Our menu will include:

Chicken Wings
Roast Beef Sandwiches (both plain and kimmelwick available)
Tossed Salad
Pasta Salad
Danny's AWARD WINNING Chicken Wing Soup

For those looking to eat a more healthy fare, Dannys kitchen will be open all day and you can order of their menu.

Danny's has a full service bar inside and will have an outdoor tent where we can purchase beer.

We will have our own area outside, right next to the restaurant.  Our area will include a 20 x 40' tent, banquet tables, bistro tables, chairs, our own PORTO-POTTY, and Rolling fucking Stones music.

The cost of the party is $27.

The West Seneca (Rats) bus will be picking up at the Hampton Inn, Staybridge Suites, and Country Inn & Suites.

Buses will be picking up between 2:30 and 3pm that day, driving straight to Danny's South and dropping off for the pre-party.  Dannys South is located across the street from the stadium - a 3 minute walk to the Ralph.  The buses will pick us all up back at Dannys after the show.  I will figure a good time for the pickup once we see how long the band has been playing each night.

ticket is section 131 row 6 - it looks like a really good seat! keith's side, pretty close to the stage, on the side but not too far to the side...

If only........ This is killing me reading about this.  There are very few things that could keep me away from a Stones show in my home state.  My Daughter getting married in Boston that day is one of them.  Any chance of lake effect snow that would push this out a day?
