Hey fellow Stones brothers and sisters.

I'm several beverages into Exile on Main Street. This album is obscene and filthy. So many songs about sex and drinking and partying.

But then that's a common theme with this band.

Is there anyone here who doesn't love this album? Or this band?

This band is all about having a good time. I love them forever.

Women are always trying to waste me.

I mark all the happy times and the sad times and the up times and the down times with the music of The Rolling Stones.

The Stones are the one constant in my life.

I don't care what they perform when I see them, and each record is my new favorite.

In college I fell in love with a girl 5 years older. She had her own place in Center City Philly and her windows were obscured by a billboard on the roof. Even at high noon in the middle of August, there was a darkness in her apartment that was very appealing to me.

I remember many drunken parties and art school projects going down, all within the shadows of that billboard.

The first time she invited me to spend the night, I remember taking the Stones with me. It was Emotional Fucking Rescue. I can' remember the year, but I do remember the grooves.

A certain former friend of mine and noted obscene ha-ha record reviewer had as his wedding dance "Emotional Rescue" - because his then wife suggested so as it was the tape playing in his car when he had his first date with her. 3 or 5 years later she divorced him. He's married again and has a kid, all is well, he stopped reviewing records using blue words all the time then I got bored with him and told him I've got bored with his facebook showoffy crap and shitlisted him.

'No Expectations' or 'You Gotta Move' would work well for that one.

I'd steer well away from titles such as "Comin' Down Again", "I'm Goin Down" and "Slippin' Away" though.
