Thanks Voo   ............................

"  . "In the early '60s a band came out of England and it changed the world…but enough about the Rolling Stones. Ladies and gentleman, Paul McCartney." Keith Richards wins the intro game, yes? Cut to McCartney singing "Maybe I'm Amazed" on piano and everyone else just watching in God-this-is-the-absolute-coolest awe. The talent level throughout the entire show really was something to behold.   "

I have not seen Macca perform lately. I hear how great he is supposed to be. But damn, he was struggling last night, no?
Keef and Bill Murray were the best imho.

In Paul's defense, he put on a small concert the night before and charged fans $40 to attend. He must have sang his ass off at the show for his fans, so I don't mind that his voice was off for a free TV show.

Reading posts on facebook by a few Stones fans who were at his show on Saturday, that was apparently the case.

Not easy for these old guys to do it two nights in a row. Coming 'cold' onto a TV show and nailing it first time on one song isnt that easy either.

Keith should have walked out, congratulated SNL for 40 years, and tell them "not bad...you are getting there"
