I'm a student researcher investigating how live music experiences are meaningful to fans. I'm comparing (qualitatively and quantitatively) the ways in which fans make sense of their fandom in relation to concert experience. I choose this research topic because I myself am I big music fan and have always been amazed at spectacle of concert/festival experiences.

To those wondering, I go to RIT in NY. And I will post my research findings after it is completed. The study included a fan study of DMB, Phish, U2 and the Stones.
