Title: Rod Stweart unplugged VS Cric Elapton unplugged...
Post by steel driving hammer on Jul 25th, 2014 at 2:47pm
For me it's Rod Stewart & Ronnie.

Cut across shorty and Mandolin Wind are both much better than Clapton's very much over rated Layla.

Sorry earlier I brought up my personal legal life here.

But I was drinking a lot of wine and was scared.

Cheers.

But I will spend 6 months to a year in prison.

Come to think of it, if Mick, Keith & Ronnie got caught for their drug or whatever crimes they'll do multiple years.

But like the Stones song sings...The police one the corner, give a nod and a wave...

Cheers again.

This is EXACTLY why it is impossible to have a C10 reunion   ---  we never know when you are incarcerated .  Developing ............................. Hopefully it is only six months this time ( and the Stones are in South America and not Chicago  )  .  Shiver .........................

Rod Stewart and Ronnie Unplugged all the way.

EC sold blues down the alley for a nickel bag.

I never bought into the MTV unplugged thing...otherwise...be well...be strong...6 months may not go so quickly in the pokey...but afterwards...
a lesson hard learned...that is a good stretch of time to read up on all the Stones Bios...authorized and unauthorized...

Stewart & Wood, obviously.

And SDH - you're not going anywhere. Except to bed.

Ron the Swan and Rod The Prod, plugged and tugged, is a better proposition at this hour, shirley?

I'm sorry to hear that, Steelie. Hope it doesnt come to that. It sounds a bit excessive.

I think the Clapton Unplugged show (and the 'Layla' version from it ) is a bit overrated. The Rod Stewart one is the best thing he's done in the last 25 years.

Steelbiff.  Steelsmelch.  Hammbone.  Bone o' hamm.  Sorry to hear about this incarceration term.  Stint.  Stretch.  Bit.  Bullet.  Deuce.  12/12.  Pound.  Coat.  Yard.  Dime.  Doing porridge, as the say.  Sounds like a system failure, total waste of taxpayer money, and an unnecessary interruption in your life.  Getchmis olsun.

Rod Stewart/Ronald Wood any time.

Thanks for the feedback boys and girls.

Muffinboy,

Here's praying you'll get out early for good behaviour.

MTV Unplugged is a blast from the past--Rod and Ronnie are the best.
To digress, I also have Alice in Chains MTV Unplugged--great band back in the 1990's, don't know how many care about their music now.  RIP Layne Staley...fucking great singer.

Rod should tour with Ronnie, after the Stones tour is done.

Rod is currently touring with Santana, not a good fit imo.

Rod'n'Ronnie, never Mr. SLOWBRAIN.

Eric Crapton sucks - Green and Mick T wiped the floor with him on the Bluesbreakers, Cream is unlistenable, Blind Faiith is for fags and Derek  & The Dominoes was the only decent thing he did - because of Duane. Aside frolm that, I can only stand this guy on George Harrison's solo albums. Never seen such an overrated guy who can't play for shit if his life depended on it.

IMHO Clapton's best work was with Delaney and Bonnie. Most Gods are over rated anyway
