you skipped through the history of the region as well, and probably have no idea of the geo-political, religious and economic situtations… I love America, were those who are the least informed, but are the loudest think they are right.

I went to see them the other week. I thought they were pretty disappointing.

All fur coat and no knickers, as we say here.

Still, hats off to them for effort and being into that sort of music at such a young age.

The sound was fine. I just dont think the songs were anything special from what I heard.

The 'global success' comment was more a reflection on the music industry than the quality of the band, though. Thats not going to happen for any rock or indie act again for a long time.

Had 3 uncles 2 there and 1 at Anzio
Another in Germany and Father on a Ship headed to The War in The Pacific.
Ages 17, 20, and 21. Young and Grew up Fast and Hard!
Never heard but very rarely told stories from either. All are gone now!
Nothing left but my memory's and photos!
Those guys were great!
