adele is amazing…. up there with some of the all time greats IMO… her voice, her writibng, he in your face… she is a Stones guest with qualifications!!!

Adele would be great. As would Florence, and I agree with LJ, Pink would certainly work. GaGa? GagGag. I'm so sick of her. But the others would be a damned sight better than Taylor Swift. Man what an embarrassment for her, and Stones fans the world over. She writes cute little pop ditties about break ups but the girl can't hold a note in a shower. What were they thinking?!

They're most definitely arenas.

Those places all have capacities of about 12,000 - 15,000. Apart from the Allphones Arena in Sydney which is over 20,000 - and where she's added four shows in addition to the eight she's already booked for the Entertainment Centre. And there are 18 shows in Melbourne alone


Thats an unbelievable amount of tickets. Probably about 600,000 plus. On an island. For comparison, thats like 9 million in the US.

i don't understand why the stones choose these bublegum pop singers. to boost sales i guess.
Adele at hyde park would be good, but I fear the worst...

I'm not a Gaga fan, so I agree with sort of… The one thing Gaga has, is that thing Madonna has, they are doing it to do it… and they will always push the envelope, making them unpredictable and dangerous… so even though the music isn't my taste, I respect the dark side, which is like The Stones were… if that makes sense… Taylor Swift sure doesn't fit the bill, all she is, is cute and sexy and can sing… but that don't mean she represents the type of rock and roll that makes your parents scared, in fact, parents like her…. big no-no…. Adele would be great, she is so real, and her music comes from the heart, you can feel it….
