As you probably know the shows in Mexico City sold out in literally a matter of minutes, setting a brand new worldwide record!

The show of today, Friday May 28, 2010 will be a webcast live on the net at 21:00 local time (CST) @ 22:00 EST, etc etc

The signal will be available here

I will be there tonight with two of my daughters so probably you will here "Rocks Off Rules YOU BASTARDS!!!

LOL Nellcote! I'm going because of my daughters but a lot of regulars here and there have told me that the show is great and that he makes a nice cover of Foxy Lady

Nous venons juste d'apprendre que, en partenariat avec Marshall Arts Ltd Presentations et MPL, le site Coca Cola TV hébergé chez Tvolucion.com va retransmettre en exclusivité le concert de Paul McCartney qui sera donné le Vendredi 28 mai à 21h au Foro Sol Stadium de Mexico.

Rappelons que ce concert supplémentaire a été rajouté suite à l'extraordinaire rapidité avec laquelle les places du concert de la veille se sont vendues.

Ce sera en outre le dernier concert de Paul avant son escale européenne, prévue au Royaume-Uni entre le 12 et le 27 juin prochains, avec en apothéose un concert géant à Hyde Park le 27 juin.

C'est en tout cas une merveilleuse initiative qui va permettre aux fans du monde entier de pouvoir assister à ce concert, et à cette tournée dont la set-list jusqu'à présent a fait l'unanimité à travers le monde.

" MEXICO CITY (AP) - Paul McCartney is allowing his concert in Mexico City to be viewed for free on a giant movie screen.

Mexican Culture Secretary Elena Zepeda says the screen will be set up Friday night at a plaza in the capital's Chapultapec park. She says it's the former Beatle's gift to Mexico City residents.

Zepeda says the plaza can hold 10,000 people.

McCartney scheduled Mexico City performances on Thursday and Friday nights as part of his "Up and Coming Tour." No screen was set up for Thursday's concert.

Almost 100 people have gathered outside the hotel where

Well, I need to tell everybody that the show was fantastic, really great, some portions with raw rock like the part with "Let Me Roll It / Foxy Lady"; and some really cool set, I'm not familiar with Paul's solo work (only have the first two albums S/T and Ram) and for the rest of his discography I have just heard his songs on the radio, and the video of Rupert and the Frog Song which was a favourite of my daughters when they were newborns up to date.

The show was recorded for a DVD release, it was a webcast on line and then replay on demand and the pro shot video is available on line in the link lefty gave us http://www.youtube.com/user/MEGAEventosMX

It's a long story but I was about to lose the show as I had a car crash at around 16:00 and it took a long time to finish the formalitology but then when my wife and my daughters were ready to go I called and told them I'm going!

My wife took the three of us to the venue and we arrived in time to see the whole show, no opening act by the way.

The audience was really enthusiastic singing and dancing to all the songs and even the rain didn’t stop us. Paul made a special song “Shine a light in Mexico City” with the audience using lighters and cell phones to match the rhythm, check it out on YouTube

My daughters were happy all the show, for Analú is her third rock show there and for Emilia it was her very first show, see them dancing and singing here

Thanks for the report Voodoo, glad you & you're family enjoyed the show, I like Macca myself, never a disappointment at a concert, the man is part responsible (along with Lennon) for some of the most well known songs of the 20th Century.

Paul McCartney in frightening mob bus attack in Mexico City

Terrified Sir Paul McCartney had to be rescued by cops after a mob attacked his tour bus in a dodgy no-go part of Mexico City.

Youths forced his driver to stop then started jumping up and down on the roof as The Beatles legend, 67, cowered inside.

A source said: "At first his security team thought it was just swarms of fans but when people started scaling the bus, the situation changed in a flash." They called cops who raced to the rescue. "Paul and the team were shaken up," the source added.

It happened after his gig at the Foro Sol stadium on Saturday at 1am. His management team are now reviewing security.
