Eunice Kennedy Shriver, founder of the special olympics in which joey has won so many medals, died....88 years old.

She was a great women,
strong and compassionate.
Perhaps the most stabilizing member in the Kennedy family.
She leaves only Teddy.

His sister Jean Kennedy Smith, former Ambassador to Ireland, is still alive.

Unlike today's "celebutantes" Eunice Kennedy Shriver was a woman who will be remembered for her intellect, service to others and devotion to Family.

May she rest in peace and may God Bless her Husband and children.

I bought a really lovely coffee table book on the Kennedys, issued by the Smithsonian, for my mom today from the Dollar Store.
