I would love to put a bet on Vick against 20 wild dogs in a cage match... I think that would be cool to watch! (sarcasm) I wish Vick no harm, but I think he needs to be banned from the NFL for life! Get a job, making 30k a year.

Vick should be registered as a dog offender....all children, women and dogs/animals required to keep at least a 500 foot distance.

If Vick wants to rumble ...he should do it with bitches his own size.

Vick served 19 months in jail.

Donte Stallworth served 24 days for DUI manslaughter.

Go figure...

Not to mention Leonard Little as well. Vick did the crime and the time. He has every right to make a living. Funny how people get more upset about animals being harmed as opposed to people.

That's b/c i like animals more than people, im not more upset. I look at it this way, a football chooses to risk injury for pay, that is their choice now an animal in a ring, is forced, and people make money from that... he (vick) has every right to make a living, some employeers can decide if felons and a criminal background are a reason to deny employment, i think the NFL should do that (IMO), Vick went to college, he can get a job with his education.

Wait a minute, Vick didn't harm one or two dogs.  He destroyed hundreds of innocent dogs for his sicko pleasure.

That makes Vick scum in my book.  His meager jail stint  is a slap on the wrist.

that's b/c conspiracy charges are worse and carry heavier sentences, conspiracy to commit murder, whether murder is carried out, is far worse charge than a murder charge... I never heard of conspiracy to commit a DUI...

i am not into dog fighting, but pit bulls can kill each other all they want as far as i'm concerned.  i hate and never trust this breed of dog[s] no matter what.  8 times out of 10 when they are left alone they will always go after another dog and attack it..... they are just to unpredictable.

that said...vic had done the crime and his time and he is still a talented qb and should be allowed to play

First of all I think what Vick did was despicable and I do agree that he's scum. I don't think that 19 months is all that meager of a jail stint though.  How long should he have spent in jail?  Dude lost kibbillions of $$$ that he never will be able to recoup and he will obviously never get another endorsement deal.  I don't feel sorry for him one bit, but I do think he paid dearly for what he did.  Somebody else said that that the NFL should ban him for life...I don't agree at all. Granted I hope my team never takes a look at him, but if some owner wants to give him a chance that's up to the team...not the NFL.  If there are no owners willing to give him a chance that's ok too.

I know a  lot of pit bulls are breeded to be basketball-headed killing bitches, and they are raised to be mean bitches also.   I'm not a pit-bull lover, but they need love and cuddles just like all other dogly creatures.

Dogs are smarter than toddlers, IQ tests show
