I loved Make No Mistake. And that song that grilled Jagger was actually very fine.

Amazing , Time waits for no one. I still listen to the entire Album , it's absolute one of my fab records. Only Keith can get such a groove. Thanks Keith, give us another one !

i was very refreshing when it came out, i thought.  i do not own the studio cd of it, but i do have the live at the paladium cd which i guess is sort of the same.  there are some great songs on it and i still enjoy it from time to time even to this day.  it would be nice if keith did another solo cd.  and oh yeah...i can believe it has been 20 years....my bones certainly feel it.

:wtf1

It was right before Steel Wheels. It kinda started the reunion.

20 years hey
i been listening to it for the last 2 weeks and really enjoying it
Keef is the king of that smoky rock thing

and his singing is sublime, i find it amazing that he plays a mean rhythm guitar, and yet can sing a totally different melody over the top

love it

must disagree bill i think Locked Away is a gem for a number of reasons no least the nifty "I, we , they " shift of perspective in each chorus

also, as was mentioned on another thread here recently, the vinyl release  represented vinyl recording at its peak - which it was actually given that the last 20 years has seen the rise and rise of the CD - the sound is BIG

Locked Away and You Don't Move Me are my favs. Keith was really bringing it - didn't he also write Almost Hear You Sigh and Slipping Away at the time?

Still sounds really beautiful on Virgin-label LP.  A great demonstration disc, esp. "Make No Mistake," featuring Al Jackson, Jr.'s drum kit.
