The one I heard about will be in Luechow, which I think is near Hamburg:

oh the sloppy reports :blankfriggingstare1
Luechow isn't in Hamburg - that's 120 kilometers away. ...and Berlin is ca. 200 km away. The Rolling Stones didn't plan the museum - that was Uli Schroeder's idea. btw, he was called the official Shine A Light man at the Berlinale by the band. |

A great idea! The RS need a museum, there is so much pop-history and counter-culture that go along with the decades of music. This could be REALLY good if it's done properly.

A museum to Ron Jeremy has much more importance.

If it's run by Germans, it'll be a success. If they had it in the band's own country, it would open sometime around 2025, ten times over budget and the building would fall down after the first week. |

The rock and roll hall of fame museum is going/gone broke. Why would a Stones museum be any different? Shit, they couldnt even give away their last cd.
I think people should face facts. The Stones are not really important to anyone anymore. Except us handsome devils. |
