To add to what Zack said, its a nod to Dylan's "Visions of Johanna" (although from the definition of this particular copy of the pic, its not that clear what is around the donkey's neck) - the line being "jewels and binoculars hang from the head of the mule"

The one on the right looks like Taylor's Les Paul and on the left that clear-plastic one that Keith played a bit on the tour (and on the Ed Sullivan show when they mimed HTW).

this cd, to this day has my all time favorite version of sympathy for the devil...i think its awesome.
i also love the jumping jack flash.....the cd is great.

The trucks (donkey) hauling the equipment
