100 Club 1982 and 1986 (especially 1986)
Any good quality concert performances from the Jones era - theres a shockingly small amount of it in circulation.
The Marquee 12.7.62 (almost certainly doesnt exist)
Crawdaddy 1963 (DOES exist as it was bought at auction a few years ago)
MSG 28.11.69 1st show (DOES exist apparently)
El Mocambo 1977 (both shows)
The missing club shows from 1981-2005 (Sir Morgans Cove, Horseshoe tavern, Phoenix club etc) and the live performances/jams they did at the various video shoots (St Marks Bar & grill 1981, Bains-Douches 1983, Bagleys warehouse 1995)

Loads of video - the rest of Ft Worth 1978 and the confirmed pro shot of Brixton 1995 for starters

All the missing BBC radio & TV stuff from the 60s

The studio stuff is too numerous to mention. Its pretty much infinite.

Any live concert performances with Brian in the 60's that I don't already have. I have most of the boots....not good quality, but I'll take anything!

When you consider - by comparison - how many live recordings there are in existence of the Beatles and Dylan up until 1966 (when they both stopped touring), the amount of live shows available of the Stones for the same era is shocking.

I know tape recorders were in their infancy back then, but I find it pretty hard to fathom that,  when you take the broadcast material out of the equation, theres barely ten audience recordings of the Brian era in circulation.

Even more amazing is the fact that the only Stones North American concert with Brian Jones that's ever widely circulated is their last one ever - Honolulu 1966 - and thats from a radio broadcast. No audience recordings at all.

I know. I've always wondered why there were so few recordings of Brian era shows. To me, it just all added to that air of "mystery" or "mythdom" about Brian. The less there is available about someone {whether music, or interviews, or pictures}, the more mythical they become. I think there might be a European show or two with Brian that I don't have....but I do have a number of them. And lots of duplicates too, because in order to get a show from Sweden or Australia, I would have to get the Hawaii or Olympic Theatre shows again... ::)

I'm at least glad that the photographers weren't stingy with taking Brian pictures! I have hundreds and hundreds, and every day, fans post pictures I haven't seen before on the Brian thread. It's like a fresh discovery every time that happens... :) 8-)

French radio "Europe 1" have in their archives recordings from Olympia 1965, 1966 and 1967 + Palais des Sports 1970.
Only some tracks from the Olympia shows were re-broadcasted during the Voodoo Lounge Tour in 1995 (excellent quality of course)
And they have certainly Olympia 1964 too (broadcasted live 44 years ago) !

These are my Holy Grail.  Those performances, complete shows, complete songs, that sound, minus the annoucers on the Swingin' Pig GATHER NO MOSS double.  That would be amazing.

El Mocambo March 5th 1977 complete
Both Detroit shows of 1972, supposed to be the best shows of the tour - first airing of Uptight/Satisfaction
A 1971 concert or two...especially 1st Glasgow or 1st Newcastle
Dallas July 6th 1975

Yes....yes indeed. Just thought those 62-63 gigs are to unreachable to mention, as they were not recorded, just like 100 Club 1986.

When it comes to Lyceum Theatre 1969.... the Saville Theatre gigs were not successful, but I have yet to hear how those Lyceum concerts worked out.

Speaking of Sotheby's auctions, the "Black Box" acetate popped up there about 10-12 years ago (for those who dont know what it is, its a Bill Wyman compiled set of Stones 60's outtakes which ABKCO then ditched, putting out 'Metamorphosis' instead). A good mate of mine (who occasionally posts on here) paid a shitload of cash for that. Understandably, it hasnt circulated, as far as I know

Wow, great info, Gazza! Man, can you imagine being at that {or any other} Crawdaddy Club gig? Or anything at Eel Pie Island...or the Marquee...or the Richmond Club. Such incredible history in the making! 8-)

AND, as I am typing this, "Get Off Of My Cloud" has just come on the internet radio station I have on! ;D

Thanks Gazza, so at least an audience tape exists.
Come to think of it, I remember reading about that one. Wasn't it Mick Jagger who bought it ?

Not that I'm aware of - although it was Jagger who bought the Little Boy Blue & The Blue Boys home tape from 1960 when it was auctioned in the mid 90s.  Of course, that one HAS circulated since.

From Amazon.com a few years ago I bought Sydney 2-18-66 and den Haag 4-15-67.  The sound is pretty bad--akin to that Honolulu '66 show, but better perfomances.
