ok, has anyone else noticed that brandon webb has won his first 9 starts of the season? fracking amazing....the dude could be the first to win 30 since mclane in the late 60s....

elias tells me the last time someone had such a hot start was 1985....

and mcgowan resigns....tee hee....is the "barry zito era" over?? bigger mistake than pavano, hideki irabu and the herschel walker trade rolled into one....

Playing in a the junior circiut will do that for you.

Never happen.

Denny McClain pitched in a four man rotation and made 41 starts when he went 31-6 in '68.

Webb started 34 games last year, so he'd have to go virtually undefeated and get a decision in every game to win 30.

Great pitcher, though...
