It's more like a crime. >:( There are a LOT of people who deserve to be in there, and aren't. Too much red tape---too many politics involved. It's become a joke, for the most part. And THAT'S a shame... :thatwassmart

The RRHOF has become such a joke.

It should be changed to the "Pop Hall of Fame" so Madonna would feel more at home there.

Lets review--Johnny Winter not in, Iggy Pop not in.   But freakishly, they let Ig in to salivate Madonna/Madge.   Is Joey in?

I think you can actually call it Jann Wenner's Popular Music Hall of Fame.   He's taken over the whole thing and ruined it.

Yeah, that's basically it. Jann and some woman {forgot her name}, and maybe one other, determine who is and isn't to be inducted. It's really a joke now, although still I think most artists would LIKE to be included. I know that Mark Lindsay {of Paul Revere & the Raiders} would love to be there....we've had a few conversations about it. Even though he knows about all the "politicking", he would still love to have the Raiders inducted....can't see it ever happening, though. There have sure been enough petitions sent! :(
