I have a decision to make. But let me explain. Lewiston Maine is a town about 30 miles from me. Bob Dylan has played there, maybe three or four times. I alway's can't make it for some reason usually money. I haven't seen him live yet. Anyhow, I just found out today that he's playing Lewiston this Saturday night. By the luck of the draw I have the money this time around. I'm so excited I'm typing this with my beer holding hand.

I disagree. Even when Keith was having his problems during the last tour, Ronnie picked up the slack. I've never seen The Rolling Stones NOT give a great show - even while freezing their asses off in Chicago. At the very WORST, they'll phone in a setlist full of warhorses, and even that beats anyone else on their best night. At their very BEST, they'll leave you stunned, satisfied, and wondering how the hell they still do it. Granted, they're not the Stones of '73, but it's 35 years later, and they're still bringing it all back home, imo.

Agreed. I've seen tons of concerts but none made me feel nearly as good as the Stones did. There's just something special about them that no other band seems to be able to replicate.

Well, he saw him a few years ago. This was basically the same show, only not as good. He LOVES Dylan, and he's afraid that seeing him anymore will destroy the memory of the REAL Bob....the one of the 60's/70's. Oh, and I forgot....he went with a friend who had an extra ticket, so he didn't even pay this time. He said he won't go again because he doesn't want to myth and memory to be dashed... :ouch

actually TTM you have my interest here - you say you have never seen bob and i believe (correct me if i am wrong) you have not seen the stones either. pray tell what bands of any renown have you seen and when and what did you think??
