I'm hearing rumours that Sam Cutler, Stones tour manager from '68 to Altamont is writing a book about what really went down. Has anybody else heard this? Cutler's the guy that supposedly "bought $500 worth of beer for the Hell's Angels to provide security" which ended in murder.

The story is supposed to be really "different"-i.e there was mafia and stuff involved in Altamont. I'm hearing it's coming out soon and tells a lot of things we haven't hear before. I can't wait. Here's a guy that was in the middle of all of it.

Everything seems to be ready..are we ready?...the biggest band to come to America.The fantastic 5.....loved his pre 69 and Ya Ya s announcement.

Considering Sam was with the Dead about ten times as long, I'd expect the Dead to be the focus of any book of his.

He was at Hyde Park too.

Plus, - everything about Altamont and especially the 69 tour would be of great interest to this boy!

But where did you hear about that book?!
