if anyone knows how long this will be playing i sure would like to know.  i heard that it might be winding its way down in the the theaters.
question number 2.....how do i find this theater from port authority?  i understand the theater is not that that far from it.

You cant tell in advance how long a movie is going to run for in any cinema....it depends on whether there's box office demand for it.

Cant imagine it running more than 2-3 weeks in most places to be honest. I wouldnt leave it much longer to see it if I were you

In The US, even really high grossing movies don't seem to play for more that 6 to 8 weeks tops. The movies are on DVD sometimes 3 to 6 months after the theater runs are over! SAL should be on DVD by Xmas at the latest!

I'd guess that this week will be it for a good number of theatres.
My local megaplex has reduced the number of showings to two a day.

The IMAX deal may be different, I dunno.
The NYC theatre is @ Broadway and 68th Street,  20 + blocks uptown from the PA.

i appreciate the input folks.  i live 2 hours north of the city and there ain't no imax in these here parts.
the cost for me to get back and forth from my digs into the city and back to see this movie...well i could buy both the double cd and the dvd, when this comes out.
it is just that i will be in the city may 8th and that was when i hoping to see it.  hopfully it will still be playing then.

Is Nyack closer to you? SAL is playing through May 8th at the IMAX at Pallisades Mall, I think. It's also currently on the IMAX screen in White Plains.

I haven't seen it yet and I'm probably not gonna be able to see it before the DVD comes out.... They are not playing it in my city and the nearest one that does is a a 4 hour drive from here... :'(
