Kinda simple question...
Jagger has gotten better IMO, so I'd say he's at his best now. While Keith I'd say could be 72 or 78, not sure yet...
What about others...
Taylor,Jones Wood and of course Charlie and Bill, although... they both were rock steady!

Hmm...I'd agree that Mick is better now than ever, at least entertainment wise. Wyman peaked in '81 imo. I don't think Charlie changed much during the years. Both guitarists peaked in the late 70's but I enjoy their 90's stuff because they experimented with their tone more and were more versatile.

For Brian Jones, gotta go with 1966. True, Aftermath was recorded at the end of 1965, but it feels 1966. Sitar, marimbas, dulcimer, harmonica -- maybe even some guitar! -- all on one great album. Also did the Degree of Murder soundtrack, a few nice contributions to Between the Buttons, and ended the year with the recorder for Ruby Tuesday. Too sporadic from 1967 on, Satanic Majesties notwithstanding.

Yeah, Brian in 66. I think that's an easy one. Wyman on the Emotional Rescue album, so what's that, 80-81. Woodie on Some Girls, so that's 78. Taylor on Sticky Fingers, 71. Charlie has been great forever. He's a rock. Those are the easy ones. For me Keith on Exile, 72. Mick has been pretty steady, and he did great on ABB. But I think his voice was more versitle as a younger man. I would say GHS was Mick at his peak, 73.

Hmmmm.....yes, I agree with 1966 for Brian. And I would follow that with '63-'64 when he was just wailin' away on harp or slammin' the slide on all those R&B covers... :) 8-)

Keith and Exile---yes, I think so. Exile is my favorite non-Brian album.

Charlie is ALWAYS good.

Bill was quite a melodic bass player. He did some good things in all decades, I think.

Mick---well, I don't think his voice is as good as it used to be, but he sure still has the energy. I like most everything except the disco stuff, which I'm thinkin' must have driven Keith crazy... ::) Mick went disco and Keith went reggae...
