The Rolling Stones To Issue 'sympathy For The Devil' Wine Next Month

The Rolling Stones have partnered with a winery in British Columbia to produce their own line of ice wine, according to jam.canoe.ca.

The Stones and the Ex Nihilo Vineyards in the Okanagan Valley will produce a limited run of an ice wine line, named "Sympathy For The Devil" after the band's classic 1968 track. Last June, when the Stones were in Belgium, the band approved the wine's concept and gave the go-ahead for the production.

A representative for the vineyards says that the line will be limited to only 222 cases of the sweet dessert wine. The "Sympathy For The Devil" wine will be released on May 1st, and will sell for $125 a bottle.

The numbered bottles will features a label depicting the legendary "Stones tongue" and will include a limited edition collectors'book.

Ice wine is a high priced dessert wine that's produced from grapes that have been frozen while still on the vine.

The Stones' new Martin Scorsese-directed concert film Shine A Light is in theaters now.
