My Man! Personally, I dont get the whole point of early entry when you have PIT tickets already. I mean, each pit is already pretty small, and uncomfortable as it is... But, if that is what floats your boat...party on I always walk in just as the first band finishes, regardless of where I am sitting. I care more about the pre-show gatherings way to much to care about a a 2 square foot plot of real estate. |

Hopefully Rambler, there is just something missing from the show when they don't play it...people should start running to the loo during Miss You lol so Mick realises they have to always play Rambler because people were going crazy during it at Metlife 2 and Foxboro, especially Foxboro, it was rocking so hard |

Had an absolutely fantastic time, they were great! Pit B was a bit wild. There were Argentinians present, one person passed out before the show. Hung out with three lovely young ladies before the gates opened, and a wonderful pair of mother and daughter inside the pit.
Couldn't be happier, miss Charlie. |

Mick harp solo during Miss You...actually I wanted to take a pic of Mick playing the harp because I love to see that and instead clicked on video, then I was like oh well why not film it and then I was bery happy about this because what I love to see even more than Mick playing the harp is Mick playing the harp for Keith and Keith just absolutely adoring it, it's the sweetest thing ever <3 https://youtu.be/9q5ctSZDuCA?feature=shared Keith solo on Sympathy, he did so well at all the shows I went to that I just had to film it once...he really has been on fire ever since the Metlife shows! |

Relaxed staff???? Was this your first show of the tour? This was the most unrelaxed and incompetent I have witnessed since Berlin 2022, those people were fucking dumb and rude and didn't know shit, we overheared them send an elderly couple to the wrong queue and when a lady was asking for box office to pick up her LDs those so-called employees couldn't help her altho they are supposed to work there, then I told the lady where the box office was, since I had seen it simply by spending all day at the stadium... They also didn't walk us into the venue so everyone started running and pushing as compared to the past shows where everyone had to walk single-file and it was so much more relaxed...at one point one of the so-called employees yelled at me simply for pointing out that they told us all fucking day long that there would be ONE single line for pit A/B/read Gen and then like 5 minutes before entry started they decided to randomly do 2 lines allowing people who came 10 minutes before the entry to be at the front while others had been waiting all day long...those people are stupid and don't get shit, fans themselves could organise the entry better than them, we basically did in Boston a d everything worked perfectly |

Last Stones vid I took of this show...one more uploading rn of Tyler Childers whom I liked a lot musically but who came across a bit too cocky imo but maybe that was just my impression, also I couldn't fully enjoy the opening act because I felt somewhat dizzy from the heat |

Yes they fucked up the entry but inside they let the crowd get loose, get up to the rail, smoke their weed, etc... in Tampa they were incredibly stiff during the show, the crowd and the staff. And yes it was my first show of the tour lol. And it was marvelous, might have to go to another one. You weren't part of the family from Ecuador, were you? If so if was very nice to talk with you guys. |

You got some really great pics! My camera isn't the best so I really appreciate them. Great show!! Hopefully Ms. Colombia had a good view. I waited up for her to get her bag checked, lost her, and then saw her in front of me bolting as soon as she got her wristband LoL |

Title: Re: Camping World Stadium ORLANDO, FL June 3, 2024 - Setlist, Photos, Videos, Reviews etc Post by ronnie-woody on Jun 4th, 2024 at 12:04pm
Since we had to leave our Airbnb by 11am but our flight back home only leaves at 8pm, we are stuck at the airport now and I have more than enough time to write a review. I think for now I'll only keep it about the Orlando show because that's the show thread but I'm sure I might write a general one about the tour expetienc ein the 2024 tour thread sometime in a few days or so once I had some more time to reflect.
So, as already mentioned above, the staff at the stadium was unqualified, clueless and rude, which lead to the worst entry experience of this tour for us, but I don't want to get into details again because I already mentioned enough of the shit that happened, but it was even worse (e.g. they were being rude to disabled people which is just disrespectful af) Anyway, on to what went on once inside the stadium: altho the entry was messy, we still were the first ones to enter the pit after the vip people (like at both NJ shows where we also had regular pit A, in Boston we had early entry) and found it crowded af already. In NJ they told us that they sell 150 vip tickets per pit, idk if this only applied for Metlife stadium or for every venue. If so, then in NJ and Boston there DEFINITELY were less than 150 pit tickets sold because there was loads of space once we entered/we were not 150 vip people in Boston. In Orlando however, they might have oversold on vip tickets like they did in Vienna in 2022 which ended up in an already pretty crowded pit so in contrast to NJ we weren't in 3rd row from the front but halfway down the catwalk (and in 2nd row from the catwalk). Overall once everyone was inside the pit, there still was enough soace to move and dance, people at least weren't standing squeezed next to each other (like in Vienna). The opening act was Tyler Childers whom I had checked out before and I really like Whitehouse Road, I also filmed this song by him, you can check it out here: https://youtu.be/KbiXFxDa528?feature=shared He has a great voice and I mostly enjoyed the songs they played but I thought he came across a little cocky, idk I didn't like his stage presence for some reason. But maybe this was also me being a bit annoyed still at how the staff behaved and that it was hot af that day and my head was all dizzy. Halfway through the opening set some 20-something yo guy a few rows in front of us collapsed twice. Idiotic staff didn't react at first when people were calling for help, it seemed to take them forever to react, like sure, someone might be dying here, but please get a drink or a smoke first or something... ::) in the end they carried him out but thankfully he made it back before the Stones came on stage and he seemed alright. Once the famous words "Ladies and Gentlemen...the Rolling Stones" were announced by Matt, as always in this moment, everything else that happened up to this point was gone and forgotten. Nothing else matters anymore once the guys take the stage! Keith didn't mess up the intro to SMU and also played brilliantly for the rest of the evening. Since we had heard soundcheck, we already knew they were gonna play WWW, IORR, She'a a Rainbow and Dead Flowers. I'd like to make a short excourse here back to soundcheck time because it's worth to be mentioned, it was quite an experience. So far I have been able to listen to the soundcheck about 7 times so far out of my 12 shows but this time was the best (and most annoying experience thanks to the annoying staff all at once). From where we were waiting for Pit entry, when getting out of line for a bit, we could literally see the stage and I have never been able before to see the stage during soundcheck, only listen to it. It was soo nice to see the guys in this situation, not in their stage outfits but all in t-shirts and just being all chill but still having fun. Ronnie had his nails painted blue, I guess courtesy of his twins ;D (but he removed it for the show) Mick was singing Tumbling Dice while facing Keith basically the entire time which was so nice to observe, I just love when they are like that. During WWW, Mick, Keith and Ronnie came together in a circle to jam together which was beautiful to see, it really was so great to witness them like that <3 now here the annoying part: if you tried to take pics or videos, annoying staff would wave and yell and get you to stop, I mean wtf is wrong with them, we're gonna see them later anyway and film and take pictures, just fucking leave us be, it was too hot for that bs ::) but anyway, of course I still took some pics and a vid) and will upload them later :P So, back to the show. I didn't mind getting to hear IORR again, somehow I really enjoyed this song this tour, they played it really well (as basically all the songs!) When the vote song came around it wasn't a surprise for us, but aurprisingly I was okay with SaR even thobit's not my fave song ever and even tho I wanted BMHO or OOC because I wanted another song I'd never heard before, I got Rainbow at HP1 two years ago already and then it was special af because there was an actual rainbow over the stage right at that moment! I still enjoyed getting to hear it once more and Mick and Keith were playing the intro together a bit, smiling at each other, which was nice to see :) Next came Dead Flowers. Ngl, when they soundchecked it, I was SO excited, because I've never heard it live before and it's one of my favourite slower songs by them so I was REALLY looking forward to it. Which I didn't expect, however, was that there would be Tyler Childers guesting on it...I was annoyed by that because I wanted Mick and Keith to sing it together like in 2019 because it was so beautiful...instead it felt like Keith was being degraded to a background singer on this one and even tho I like Tyler Childer's voice and even tho I obviously filmed the song, I didn't think Tyler and Mick's voices meshed so well and I mostly focused on Keith's voice because I enjoyed it a lot, he was singing very well again. In Boston due to the shitty weather he seemed to have a slight cold or so, but yesterday his voice sounded amazing again <3 I was happy overall to get to hear another song I haven't heard before yet (making it 12 songs in total this tour I didn't get before) but I wanted only Mick and Keith to sing Dead Flowers together that's why I'd not rate this 100% but only like 90 :P They played WWW again instead of MiU and I was happy since WWW is my fave song on the new album! MiU is WAY better live than on the record and people seem to like it and I do too, but WWW just hits differently, what a great rocker! Another change compared to Boston was they broight back Miss You instead of Rambler which had me disappointed for like 10 seconds because you know that Rambler is my fave live song ever and for me it's not a proper setlist without it BUT yesterday that surprisingly was NOT the case and I honestly have to admit that this version of Miss You was the best I have seen them do live so far. Already at Metlife 1 I thoughtit was way improved compared to 2022 and the other times I saw them but yesterday I enjoyed it so much I even forgot that Rambler was missing! Mick played a really long harp solo, longer than before, I just love when he does that and he played for Keith which is one of my fave things ever to observe because Keith always seems to enjoy it so much, he loves when Mick plays the harp and never fails to mention this in interviews, it also makes him smile so much all the time and when Keith smiles, I smile <3 JJF wasn't as overwhelming and outstanding as it was in Boston, the soundmix was too loud, almost deafening, but it's fine, the guys seemed to have fun playing it and imo JJF is their best song of the warhorses these days, always a top performance. Mick and Chanel performing together on Gimme Shelter and SSOH is a total highlight always and yesterday, even tho Mick (probably due to the heat) seemed to have some vocal problems and didn't sound as incredible as in Boston, they still are so great together, it's ao fun to watch them, they are so dramatic, I love it!! Their voices fit so well together and Chanel is hitting the high notes way better than Sasha imo, Sasha uaed to just scream at some notes...but Chanel is absolutely stunning and I feel lucky to have been able to witness her perform. Satisfaction turned out to be a great and wild party thanks to the Argentinians behind us, was the best pit party during this song since Berlin 2022, it was electricising and the guys seemed to noticw this! I'm glad our last show for this tour ended like that because it left me feeling bery happy even if overall I enjoyed the Boston and Metlife 2 shows more for various reasons. Summed up, I'm just so thankful and happy I got to be at some shows this tour and I'm leaving the US with a bit of a heavy heart because y'all know what i's like...Stones shows arw like a drug because once you got the taste, you need more...I hope we'll get more in Europe next year! And it seems likely, if everything continues to go well, because the way these guys are playing atm, I cannot see them stopping anytime soon. They have WAY too much fun foing what they do and they still do it outstandingly well!! |

Soundcheck vid of WWW...short but couldn't do more cause the staff was annoying af and I was scared they'd take my phone away or call the cops, they were really aggressive and rude (except for that one Latino looking guy who was nice and empathetic), in Boston everyone was literally recording entire songs and nobody said a word ::) |

You're welcome!
It wasn't too crowded, but again my first pit so I have nothing to compare it to. I could've gone up to the rail a bit more, but I figured it was easier to secure my spot closer to the back, and I was able to see pretty much the whole stage from my corner. |
