Its pretty obvious that the selections are done in a way that they're 'loaded' towards one or two obvious winners whilst making it look like they're considering playing a deep cut or two. It would be nice to see the % breakdown like they did on the Bridges to Babylon tour when they first had a fan vote.

Gazza, as you and I recently discussed, it was a few years ago that after one vote, (maybe during Ole?),
someone at the RS.com site actually posted the voting numbers.
It was quickly taken down within an hour or two.
Cant recall if it was posted with percentages, actual numbers, or both.

I think the fear is that the final numbers would likely support your theory of it
being a slanted vote towards 1 or 2 on the ballot, and conversely, prove that a rare gem
(never intended to be played) may blow the others out to the water.

I voted for She's a Rainbow...I figured anything in Amsterdam should include a rainbow.

Guessing the next show to be played will be Hyde Park#1, (Milan a long shot) but yet to be confirmed.

Wondering...if you already grabbed your LD tkt and it was a GREAT seat to your liking...can you use that for the rescheduled show?

On a personal level, I have tickets for Bern and Milan, was supposed to be leaving tomorrow but I cancelled my arrangements for Bern, who knows what'll happen with Milan.

Fuck, I'm hoping Mick pulls through okay. No reason to think he shouldn't, except I'm not sure if there's any potential complications from the heart valve surgery. I was frankly thinking he actually looked exhausted and slow at the most recent concerts, so hopefully he gets through this okay and it's business as usual.

I'm also concerned for Keith and especially Ronnie, the latter of whom has literally been on death's door twice. Keith, too, for all the immortality memes, needs to be cautious. Ideally this is a small speed bump and the tour can continue, business as usual.

Absolutely awful news. Gutted for Mick, the band and everyone with tickets, especially those who had been travelling. When theres only two shows a week, this could end up being potentially a LONG wait between gigs

This could be an absolute tour wrecker. The next show in Berne will almost certainly be off and even the one in Milan in 8 days time must be in serious doubt as Mick will have to isolate for several days and travelling, even by private jet, is going to be an issue. Add to that the fact that even if he tests negative again in a few days, the effects on his voice could linger for a while. There have been online videos of Rod Stewart and Jon Bon Jovi performing in recent weeks and they've sounded horrendous - both of them have recently had covid.

Even Mick being in good health wont make him immune from its lingering effects. I'm sure a few of us here have first hand experience (I caught it in mid-January, only tested positive for a week but as I've a weakened immune system as I'm getting medical treatment as I had cancer in 2020, it absolutely pulverised me for weeks. I'm only getting over the cough five months later!)

At the age these guys are and with the health issues some of them have had, it goes without saying that everyone staying safe is essential.

I never shy away from criticizing the Stones, but they deserve enormous credit for their diligence and courage in announcing this. Perhaps they could have done the test earlier (maybe they did, or maybe they couldn't) but my guess is that there have been plenty of bands who have had the same information and kept it quiet, especially this late in the game.

Haha. Thanks. Its all good health wise, in my case. I know JBJ's voice is grating at the best of times but the recent footage showed that he was really struggling. Rod sang at the Queen's 70th jubilee concert a couple of weeks ago and put this brutal performance down to recently having covid. It really can hammer your ability to breathe properly for weeks, which is far from ideal if you're a singer.

When they resume, they should drop Ghost Town and not replace it. They'd have a shorter show, and GT isn't really relatable in the New Optimism. And not played well.

Plus, Mick, it carries the curse of Covid.

I had read where LDs, if they already had their tickets in hand, those were the one to use for new show, which makes perfect sense.
Unless they are using the "shake'em up and pick your envelope method, all seats are already allotted to each cardholder.

In Dublin, we got to blindly pick out envelope from a box...absolutely the most nerve-racking experience, and extremely fun, IMO. Especially when you open it up and see the word PIT flash in the sunlight!!

So so adorable! They have been so cute with each other all tour and last year as well...it's like they got so close again with age, it's just beautiful to see ater everything they went through...

also the fact that they will praise each other in interviews and Keith will say only nice things about Mick now as compared to only a few years back when he bashed him whenever he got the chance...

sometimes makes me wonder what prompted the change?...whether it be Keith stopping to drink heavy booze 24/7 and therefore not being so mean all the time, or maybe Mick's heart surgery kinda giving them all a scare in 2019 and making them realise that they're not invincible...but for sure it was Charlie passing last year that brought them together even closer...

seeing them like that, especially when I was at HP1 and they were hugging twice, it's like Bernard said in that BBC documentary...seeing the love between them just warms the sh*t outta you <3
