Can anyone confirm that the Stones (and Willie Nelson, Paul McCartney, Pearl Jam, and Dave Grohl) have joined Neil Young and Joni Mitchell in leaving Spotify?

No, the stones have not (yet)

I think it is a misunderstanding as Spotify is also am open platform so you can upload your own music, podcasts, conferences, etc. It was not Spotify the one uploading it

Joni Mitchell and Nils Lofgran have joined the efforts or inthe process of joining.
There have ben a few other PodCasters who have also stopped podding.

Neil Young's Sirius Channel has returned for at least another month. It previously had a limited run thru mid January.
