Does anybody have any idea what time the opening act will come on and what time the Stones should come on based on past shows? I know Ticketmaster says show at 7:30 but I wasn't sure if that meant opener at 7:30 and trying to make logistical plans. Thanks for any insight.

The 'dropped' song is the part of the show where they usually play a ballad (last night's show didn't have any, other than one of the one Keith sang)

That usually means one of two things :

1) Mick is having voice problems

or

2) He didn't want to risk having voice problems at future shows caused by the poor weather.


Still - two more tour debuts - Heartbreaker and YGMR.

As part of my continuing campaign of self-glorification through the
careful tracking of coincidences, i need to mention the following:

1) the first line of my song "white sugar" (on another thread a week ago)

"gulf coast cruise ship bound for Cancun beach" 

2) mick's intro in dallas for "ghost town"

"this is our lockdown song, dedicated to ted cruz, who spent lockdown on the beach in Cancun"

There were a few missed cues and flubbed guitar parts - no doubt about it. But when you are in the pit and I mean - very close to the ramp and stage in the pit - their personal charisma simply takes over. They work so very hard on stage - it's incredible and awe inspiring. Even Keith and Ronnie ventured out into the rain down the center ramp. It was cold, windy and rainy - but they gave it every bit of energy they could muster. I have seen them play better, but I've never been so impressed as I was on that cold wet night in Dallas. Looking forward to the UK in 2022.
