Just listened to another take on i think im going mad, wik Mick on vocals.
Beautiful. However i prefer the version with Keith on lead vocals.
Is it Bobby on sax or Ron?

One of my all time Stones favourites.

I think it's Bobby, but yes, during those days Ronnie used to play sax live with Bobby during the New Barbarians tour

Mel Collins, apparently.

Although personally I think it sounds like the playing style of David Sanborn, who also played on the 'Undercover' sessions.

I don't think is Mel Collins, but I'm not sure... he attended the recordings at Pathé Marconi in 1977 and the released versions of Miss You and Everything is turning to gold are with Mel on sax

I think I'm going mad was recorded in 1979 and Mel didn't attend any sessions other than those in 1977

BTW... Mel Collins was a member of King Crimson in the "interregnum" formation aka King Crimson Mk2 and is a current member since 2011 in the "Seven/eight-Headed Beast" formation aka King Crimsobn Mk8

Overdubs were done in 1983 during the UC sessions, which is one of the reasons (other than the playing style) why I've always thought it was Sanborn

Thanks Gazza, yes could be David but (I think) not Mel Collins
