I AM SO THERE!!!

Love this album...and not for nostalgia sake...I think this is a great album.
Pretty Beat Up is intense...Too Much Blood is tons of fun...would love to hear it live...
Always love the title track live...
a brave departure from their formula (lets face it...the formula had not been tested in some years)...
Always loved it...always will.
I was fortunate enough to have seen "She Was Hot" at AC, 2006.
One of about 10 highlights about that whole evening for me.

"Undercover is rock & roll without apologies."

HAPPY BIRTHDAY UNDERCOVER !!

I dont think its underrated as much as easily dismissed by fans for whatever preconceived notions they may have.
Slightly dated...maybe...overproduced? Thats subjective...bold and daring, Somewhat...but relevent at the time, surely.

I enjoy it...LOVE the remixes and extended singles that came out of it.
Its gnarly and gritty at the right times...

gonna listen to it today while at work.

I've always been a big fan of this. Lots of good interviews at the time as well about the record. Amazing instruments used as well on things like Feel On Baby. The Stones really blazed a trail in that regard and rooted in Brian Jones. An underplayed track that needs to be dusted off live is All The Way Down. Julian Cope (I think he wrote this but not 100% sure) wrote this excellent review of the album:

That is quite a read, thanks for that...it reminds me of the review I wrote for my college paper at the time...just not as long...a gawd awful total fan boy write-up...lol
I wish I had a copy of it, but alas...the school went under a few years ago (as many private colleges have) and so did its archives...

The drum sounds are regrettable but I always like the album.
