BOTH OF THEM

• Died on July 2nd but are commemorated on July 3rd
• It is not known, for sure, the reason for their deaths
• They died in the water, alone
• They were 27 years old

Jim composed a poem for Brian for his death, two years after he passed away under the very same circumstance and in the same date

There’s actually another bizarre link. If you believe the ‘unofficial’ story of Jim Morrison’s death, the club where he took his fatal heroin overdose was called ‘Rock n Roll Circus’ - which was also of course the name of the event where Brian performed for the last time

If you believe the (quite plausible IMO) 'unofficial' account of what happened to Jim Morrison that night, he overdosed in the men's room of a sleazy nightclub and was then brought back to his apartment.   The name of the club was 'Rock n Roll Circus'

A venue which took it's name from the event which happened to be Brian's final performance with the Stones.

Another loose Stones connection to Morrison was that Count Jean de Breteuil, an old drug supplier for Keith's and a boyfriend of Marianne Faithfull, is supposed to have been responsible (according to Marianne anyway) for the overly-strong dose of heroin that killed him.  Breteuil himself died of an overdose less than a year later
