Out on June 26 are break-outs of individual LPs from the half-speed master boxset ’Studio Albums Vinyl Collection 1971-2016’. Every album was remastered & cut at revelatory Half-Speed at Abbey Road Studios

I'm on the fence. I'm missing IORR out of what is being released. I have the rest of these on vinyl.

I wonder what the source will be for Steel Wheels - which is a fully digital album.

Also, I have two copies of Tattoo You. Side one on each is perfect but side two is horrible.

Notice no GHS in this lineup. Not that I'd miss it! The copy I have is censored.

I have two and more than 3,000 records

My first half-speed mastered vinyl (extended range recording audiophile pressing) was "Wish you were here" by Pink Floyd and I bought it in 1980, it's not new that technique

Hi :)
while not "new" the equipment has come leaps and bounds which each new generation... and techniques differ among engineers giving differing results. None of which matters to those without equipment to hear sonic differences and ears that will pick it up. As some of ours have seen better days :)

It really comes down to source material for these. I need more information before spending this kind of money.

Right!

I have some very recent new Half-Speed records and I'm on that list of those who can't "see" the difference, They play great, as a new record, probably with headphones, will check later
